Stealing drac bases

I'm having an issue with thieves. Need to put on some kind of restriction on who can jump in a drac base battle. Lost a few bp's already and not any more till its fixed. a) it's a pirate game - that's about the last "piratey" bit left these days.

b) do it as a team of about 6 rotating through until everyone gets all the BPs and always have 2 with FvF fleets on escort duty for the strike packages.

The time it take to destroy one is not feasible to invest 4 players. I do good to get one other to have enough time to kill one. Yes it's a pirate game, but it's my time and $.

I agree its ****. Why should people be penalized if they want to do the dam thing solo and all the crap about it being a pirate game is pathetic. I've stopped doing them for the same reason. Kixeye's loss not mine.

Good to hear, the pro nemesis is worst idea ever, the more little guys who go into drac bases with gunboats the better.

I can't say to much but KIXEYE knows this is a big issue, and they are looking into it.

Why not just make it to where the ONE captain who does the most damage of the base when the "base destroyed" shows, should the one who has EARNED that BP, just like the raid and old damage points system. More fair for those who do the work and repairs, and less easy for someone to hang out with a gun boat in the corner and take what they did not and could not earn.

I am all for helping guys prep it, killing the guards or nemesis, but the work of major damage inflicted needs to yield the BIG reward of the bp.

...and for the record I have lost more than 6 BPs in the past week and a half, and I am going on the offensive now and see how everyone else likes it.

Said this one before and its not hard to add this idea, add 2 more buttons to center one saying this group attack or solo
group attack will allow other to join and solo wil cause the drac base to go red and no one else can join, so simple.

See this is like arguing about controlling or guarding another teammates base. It is a pirate game and pirates steal. These drac bases are so tuff that without coining your chances are super slim without doing some stealing. Ya its is total BS that ppl can steal and get **** like that for free, cause if it was them that just got ripped off they would be **** up a storm. I don't coin, and can't even hit a drac base without having 20 ppl show up waiting to see if I get near the base kill line. So I just have not bothered with them since, and have no intention of screwing over ppl like that by stealing targets they payed real money to kill. Kixeye needs to install some meter that says you have to cause so much damage to the drac base to be considered for a BP chance. Also Kixeye needs to make it so, players can win the new BPs from the outer artillery hubs. They could have some crazy stupid drop rate, but still the non whales need a chance to eh, seeing we are the ones the whales eat lol..

As a non-coiner, I've hit several drac bases in the past week as part of a group of four. It goes a lot quicker when 20 ships are hitting the dracs than when there are only 5. Depending on what everyone else brings, I can do two of them in the same night (though that's because I actually have a selection of fleets; lower level players generally won't have what I have). Then repair for 15 hours and be ready again the next night. Of course, it does mean that I didn't do a whole lot in the last week other than hit drac bases...

I've seen some great tactics used by small groups of players.

Shockingly small amounts of damage taken with players on guard outside.

Like Denzel said in Training Day " This is chess it aint checkers"

If someone did it to me they would have an enemy for life.

I would not allow it to happen as I would plan ahead and make sure all my bases were covered so to speak.

It is a pirate game so i'll accept some people behaving as pirates.

they need a hostile button, click the hostile button, click the fleet in question and deal justice right then and there. If they do this, please add it to the op's in the missions as well

So this person stole a print from u then got a 1 day 12 hour bubble and had to wait 2 hours for his dock to repair or 4 coins while you just spent about 20 coins to repair your fleets to help him get the print. I do not know about you but if you spent all that money or time to get the print and i won the nemisis for your hard work and then u leveled me i would be laughing my **** off at you since I will still have the print. I have no problem living in a bubble for gaining the nemisis plus there are 499 other sectors to go to and 399 of them to get away form you where you can not hit me.

or repair dock for 4 gold and go steal another and send your attacker a huge THX for the BP..much FKNG stupid nonesense in this leveling thievs kind of talk as a solution..both in terms of drac bases and military raid targets as well.

I like the idea of having the ability to set another fleet controlled by a player in the drac base as hostile and sink it where it is.

Though, in most cases it's just a gunboat and you have to be paying super attention to see it come in. The better solution would be to make it require damage dealt in order to get a roll on the blue print. I'm against most damage dealt as conceivably there are strategies where some fleets would act mostly as tanks for damage and as such would not be doing as much damage.

I think some kind of qualifier is needed but agree it should be small and mainly to eliminate BP's for sneaking in the corner and doing nothing.

well I got someone who tried to steal my bps,

unfortunately it was me who got the bp and.... he lost his fleet unfortunately, he's going to lose his base soon too(he's under bubble now) + WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PLAY THE RAID
