NEW WEIGHT INCREASES ON TORPS!!??

Now i understand that some weights were all messed up, but come on this is just ridiculous. I had a flt of only 4 Exodious Cruisers and only one is fully armor and shielded that went from almost 1k under weight to being 700 over weight. Was it necessary to increases the weight of explosive weapons that much???????

    Didn't think they needed a weight increase. the range nerf I think would have been enough to put them in line.

    I just made 3 of these now they are overweight.   Come the hell on Dev Team, weight wasn't the issue.   What do I do with all my overweight ships now?????????

    Just a little over toned.  If your making the weight go up so much then leave the range... If we lost the range then change the weight back.  1 or the other... both is just over kill.

    I don't have but like 3 ships that are underweight, and their DPS sucks!!!  So they are about useless.  Longbows = Overweight, Rancors = Overweight,  Genesis = Overweight, Exodus = Overweight.   ALL WITH CRAP ARMOR, LOW LEVEL SPECIALS AND LEVEL 1 GUNS????

    Why did you even make level 2-5 weapons then????

    I don't mind the weight at all actually... I've got 2 full fleets of torpbow stockpiled :P

    What annoys me is that now I'll have to resort to hitting VEGAs for the next few days till I research drivers. -_-

    Meh to me they were only a problem on longbows due to the 50% range boost pretty much making them a "Nuke base without heavy torpedo turrets for free" card.

    Meh to me they were only a problem on longbows due to the 50% range boost pretty much making them a "Nuke base without heavy torpedo turrets for free" card.
    Meaning you were a farm who hadn't gotten base torps yet, "meh".

    Actually hardly ever got attacked.  I nuked every base I hit with my torp fleet without taking damage that was around my level so what was the point on even installing turrets then? IDK about you but I lose interest in things quickly when its too easy.

    Just dislike the fact that now the task isn't just hard.... it is impossible. There is not possible way to beat polarons at this moment besides mass drivers, by that point most players have base torps.

    I get bored as hell from easy base hitting but it is much less tedious and profitable than repeating vegas every 30min :P

    FvF is where the skill is at.

    Torps have more or less been made redundant for base hitting, but that spread may means it might fire into the path of the enemy fleets in FvF :P

    I have to agree this is total B.S.!! Now my 4 main resource gathering fleets are all overweight, and will take days to refit the ships in them!! What am I supposed to do for resources during that time??

    you guys went Way overboard on weight.. Vega hunting fleets are now Paper weights.. Vettes are worthless .. did you guys think of making a poll to Hear The Beta Testers Thoughts?????

    torps needed something done to them but increasing the weight that much makes it hard just to have torp 1 used to full effectiveness and with suck low mass on ships torps will be hard to put on ships/ increasing the weight does not solve the torp problem

    screw the weight the range is what pisses me off. with weight u could at least use them

    I think some are crying but most are providing feedback.  The range could of easily been fixed on longbows making them not as strong but last update they moved them up not down which was useless.  I said then it made it too easy to take bases. My problem is what use does longbow even have if they aren't for bases.  If they don't outrange something they just go boom.  Now they don't outrange anything.  Only complaint people had was mass driver was under powered.  So they nerfed torps and mass drivers are still underpowered?

    Launch and use them as you see fit.

    Even tho kix keeps tweeking, they dont have foundation code to say - Overweight ship=cannot launch. Also how mnay have ships with double thrusters etc still floating around lol

    Plas torps with range nerf was sweet, couple this with 10mins repair time for harrier and harrier wouldnt be a fvf issue anymore. But i think kix are leaning towards the concept of them wanting you to throw many fleets at vegas, to increase coining rep, but this dumb path as rep costs are sky high on ore lol

    If you mean, driving around with longbows out ranging low level bases <22 ish then yeah, this was killed lol 

    In truth plasma torps defending has killed base hitting more than this.

    Base hitting here is either - Outrange turrets and win, or fight plasma torps and lose lol

    not crying here i happen to agree that the weight increase on the torpedos is way to much u cant even put 3 torpedos on the exodus w/ everything on it so basically all ships are now going to be worthless for base hitting and they should have put the range on them just a bit higher to make things fair all the way around

    just reset me after last rest i went for trops spent must my coins to get them

    now  90% of my ships have trops and are now over mass

    Base polarons are now deadly because of lack of range with the ship torps.

    Do any kixeye devs actually think before making changes or they just throw in changes randomly?  Just asking because this last update sure screwed a lot of things up. Permitted weight on ships are ridiculously way too low.  What were you thinking, please tell us .

    Are the devs even reading our feedback?  Got to wonder what they're smoking when they make changes like the ones they just made.  They just made the game not fun to play imo.

    The change for the mass driver was needed but still not enough power from it.

    The rest, all a big time fail in my opinion.
