No offense but that was horrible. Took a while and got your ships damaged. Currently even a 6 Harrier backup that gets tagged a couple times by fast moving close range ships requires less repair time than what I just saw.

When I first saw the ships layout I thought something great might have happened as there is potential for it. The ship idea wasn't all that bad but if you're going to use railguns you need to use them properly. They fire straight so if you're going to lead units around with bait you need to lead them where the shots won't miss.

Personally I think you'd be much better off with 4 of the tiny ships and two harriers. The two Harriers can flee at first while the tiny ships fire backwards on the fast movers. Once those 4 fast movers are dead the 2 Harriers can return to kill the longbows with their supreme strafing speed to dodge the shots.
    I don't play much anymore =(

Thanks for the feedback but there's a couple things I want to point out, Firstly this is Flo's tactic I improvised and I find easier to do like this so i shared it with the comunity. Secondly the fleet had barely 30 seconds repair and was able to take another couple salvs with ease and this hit took barely a minute if that. Before the Nerf I would agree that 6 harriers are better but since the Nerf I personally can't take a salv without loosing a single ship, if you can then fair play. I used the same setup as flo because the longbows have 140% range and you have to keep the hole fleet following the bait so longbows stay the furthest away from the fight than any other ship hence taking minimal damage. Your idea for 2 harriers and 4 tiny ships in my opinion won't work you have based it on hitting 1 salv not several and they will have no where near the same range as the longbows and due to their nerfed reverse and strafing abilities they will be more likely to take a hit, they don't have the range so they have to get closer (making it more likely to take a hit) this tactic will also take more time within the salv running your harriers a around until the 4 smaller ships are dead and having to run the fleet backwards and forwards from your base.

Having reviewed you battle for the fleet you got attacked by it occurred to me you had the easier fleet, not the hard one. My reply to you was actually based on the hard one.

    EASY ONE:
    Contents: 4 x Harriers + 2 x Genesis
How to win: 6 x Corvettes with only railguns, turn and run. All enemy ships will die before any of yours are hit. No damage AT ALL!

    HARD ONE:
    Contents: 2 x Harriers + 2 x Cruisers + 2 x Longbows
How to win (#1): 6 x Corvettes with only railguns, turn and run. The 4 non-Longbows will die before they hurt you. Problem here is that 4-5 of the 6 corvettes will die trying to kill the Longbows.
How to win (#2): 4 x Corvettes (or maybe 5) with only railguns + 1 Harrier, turn and run. Corvettes dispatch the 4 chasers and continue to run. Harrier(s) turn to face the Longbows and use superior strafing to dodge railgun shots.

I think you need to watch the video again, you will see that the fleets contents were 2 x Harrier + 2 x Cruisers ans 2 longbows  :-w

it groups the ships under the white line so when you click on that white bar it selects only those ships :)

So rather than take my fleet advice on how to defeat these easier and with less repairs you nitpicked about the fact that I had it right the first time?

Let's get something straight. That fight was awkward and poor. Even if I toss an entire Corvette team I spend less in repairs than that battle. And while that squad took that level cargo fine it would have done excessively worse on one with 4 Harriers and 2 Genesis - something my strategy can handle without damages.

Moving to the more important - what happens when someone FvF you? They won't just roll over for the bait like the AI does.
