well this is my reflection on the updates today. First of all the rail guns. i think were nerfed too much considering they are in my opinion the first good cargo weapon. I also think that the harriors were nerfed too much. they definitely shouldn't be able to go as fast as a harrior going forward but they look and feel like a fast nimble fighter. going backwards a rancor out runs them. reflecting upon when i was a little guy before i learned kitting and was opening under 10's u take more damages then u get res. now rails have also been nerfed which i think is a bit uncalled for. so that makes them even harder. the fact of the matter is that the reverse was the main difference in-between harriers and genesis. the harriers were more numbly but lightly armored well the genesis were more of a brute and were able to have better armor n fire power but less nimble. now i feel like there is very little point to harriers. because they are slow going reverse they main weapon to be put on them (rail guns) was nerfed. to me this makes them just another ship u use to get the next one (genesis) rather then a ship that u enjoy using and can help at nearly any lvl. i know u shouldn't be able to open 40's with them but not even 20's without heavy loses. lets be real for a second. how many 15's or 17's do u need to get some decent weapons. i think u should at least up the amount of res u can get off these lower lvls cargo's.
About bases you guys nerfed the really only 2 good base weapons so far for low lvls, gauss and railguns more rail then gauss. but i have yet to see any changes to the base damage i also have yet to try any since the update but if there aren't decent bases are hard already changing this just makes them nearly impossible since just a rim job causes a bubble. who are we supposed to kill an entire base with low lvls armors shields and weapons??
So people dont think I am a downer good job on the help button. I just happen to think that telling negatives are more useful then positives and the CM's have also said that. And yes i do enjoy this game a lot I just think that this is just too many changes in too short of a time.
On another positive note disregarding a few things i said earlier i do like how you guys put more emphasis on longbows. i have yet to use them since an early level and am finally finding use for them so good job on that.

THANKS FLO. I used 4 long bows with rails 3 and 2 harriers i killed a 20 with only light damages one the one i baited with and some on my other harrier cause of stray shots. this changes things.
On a side note i cant find a ship when am in sector map and it is in planet map. when i click find it shows message saying this is in planet 101 are u sure u would like to find it. I click yes and nothing happens.

The introduction of lag into a once lag-free closed beta testing... the lag is getting quite horrible, almost to the degree of BYM. :P
It was already laggish this morning, I guess the battle server has some problem as it is very odd the game go from lag-free to a lag-fest from a day to another
I get the harrier nerf actually, but as I said I think the range percentage nerf like 5% would nerf it enough you could still used the fun to fly ship. Now its not as fun its that simple. But I was expecting this. I do agree the railgun nerf was a bit silly imo. There is just no reason to nerf this as they really aren't that great. Now the furry balls shoot as far and that means basically the railguns are useless. But really closed beta means they will change everything its even possible they will change it back. This is just a chance to practice and get used to controls and learn what you can and can't do. While I disagree with a need for the railguns they probably nerfed because 95% of the people were using em. Now lots will change.

OK NOW I AM REALLY PISSED. y did u nerf polerons. nerf the damage BUT THE RANGE. that is the only thing that stops people like e-a-s-y over there from lvling my base with plas torps he has lvl 2. i a lvl 21 nearly 22 will have them in a few hours. THEY ARENT HARD TO GET. they can decimate a base and now nothin will stop them. u need to bring a defense to the thing before the weapon it blocks becomes readily available maybe 2 or 3 lvls below. how am i supposed to stop E-A-S-Y from destroying my base. i would like to know because my defenses will miss every shot n his weapons will tear me apart. so tell me how am i supposed to beat him. everything else i understand n can get over BUT THIS, why what reason. they have 8 dps at lvl 1 toss on a shield n subtract 80% of that they do nearly zero damage. what is the reason to nerf them i need something to at least hit him. that way if i cant beat him i can at least discourage him from coming into my base.

Well this is true but I mean this is balancing they were OP and I suggest you follow my lead and notice the OP things take advantage of them but don't rely on them as they are soon to disappear, I actually have had all my refits lost so I can't hit you that great personally. The M probably can but till I can actually build something then I am using old ones and your base will probably keep me out still. But long story short try to build a well rounded base. So if something gets nerfed then you can move on with little effect.

Well there is some defense armor and spacing. Also there is torpedo tower weapons that outrange easily
