I wonder if it is possible to change your in-game gamer tag? If so someone please let me know, I would like to use the swame name I use in all games...
Other than Backyard Monsters, you have to pay to change your in-game name. This is done through the Outpost in Battle Pirates and the Command Center in War Commander.
Exceptions are:
1) Free name change everyone gets when they first start the game.
2) Battle Pirates players that joined an Alliance for the first time ever received (or supposed to receive) a free name change.
