With the new update we introduced Spectator Mode. The new mode replaced the “Attack” button that was visible when a player clicked on a fleet that was attacking a base. This method was being used to ambush, or “ninja”, a fleet immediately after it attacked a base.

This method of hovering over the attack button while a player is attacking a base has been removed because it requires zero skill. A player that has finished attacking a base has to wait for the world map to load and close out the battle report screen, while a player attempting to “ninja” only had to click once to attack. There was no defense against it and required no skill to accomplish.

Players are still welcome to attempt to ambush a player after a base attack, but now the player that was attacking the base will have a fighting chance to escape. In fact we even encourage players to try to ambush other players to see how wicked fast you can be and show off your skillz.

It's still possible to ambush players, you just have to be really quick.

it was already hard enough to get the players the first time we never got the people coming out of bases cause you can get out of battle right b4 the base attack ends and click away and leave and now you made it even easer to get away

What's the advantage to ambushing base attackers? Your friends base is probably already bubbled and if you are attacking with SWs or subs you aren't really recovering any useful amount of resources. If your goal is to create a big repair bill for the attacker, you might succeed, but I can refer you to a number of people who have successfully ninja'd me coming out of bases, and the ones who didn't decide to live in perma-bubbles or relocate ended up suffering a lot more than I did with my few extra hours of repair.

Exactly the same thing can be done on a F2F battle so is that going to be addressed in the same way?

i do it to give them more of a repair time and i dont use tho retarted **** subs to do it anyways but most can get away easy with the update b4 this one

Being that a base defender can keep putting out fresh fleets to defend base why even bother hitting a base-only way now is wait for them to be afk

It never bothered me when attacking a base. I was able to position my ships so that when the bubble popped up, it covered my fleet and you couldn't click on it anyway. Plus there is a way, w/out dual screening, to avoid the whole white screen thing popping up when you exit the base.

I usually leave the battle 10 seconds before the end and I keep clicking recall fleet. There's no chance of me being caught now.

i actually liked ambushing the fleets. i mean, it was easy resources and you caused some stress to your enemy..... and honestly, if they didnt know to refresh their page and start trying to move by this point, they kinda deserve to die. oh well, life goes on. perhaps this update will get more revenge attacks on bases instead of just people bragging when they sink an almost dead fleet exiting a base.

Said it b4 I ll say it again, I prefer to help the friend.
4 fights for 1 fleet is to much, So I m guessing you're standing by your update then eh swag, Well good for you, and I mean that sincerly:D
The battle field always has more holes on monday then it did on sunday, so adaptation is required.
But asking a fleet with a max of 30 guns to fight against a max of 94 guns is ridiculous! and I m glad kixs agrees

Or just intercept the base before the heavy hitter and have your friends to attack his fleet... We go around shadowing the attackers fleet now, and intercept bases left and right. :)
Go to the War Room or Player Guides and learn.

the attack button has been disabled and it is impossible to catch someone coming out of a base!...why you say.. well. No player ever uses the retreat button. when attacking a base they use the full 5 mins.. with plenty of people waiting for the attack button to appear outside even though they know they wont be caught. 10 seconds before the end of every base battle or at the end of a fleet battle, a player clicks on the map button bringing them to the map.. the player can then rapidly click to move over and over again.. when then battle ends their fleet will move strait away.
This stops players being able to defend other players or alliance members..

Team work in sectors have become next to none as they can no longer fend of other attackers. I think many playing the game are sick of not having a chance to try and catch the people attacking there fellow sector members!
If you want to do something smart KIXEYE i would bring back the attack button ASAP!!

While I'm on the topic of the update.. in base guards have to go.. before the update i watched a dred fleet walk through a DU base. The new weapon that you brought out was perfect to stop dreds doing this.. however today i watched a dred fleet get owned by a blue turret base because of the fleet guardss, which were levis. Get rid of the base guards! I have heard on comms all day and i quote "these base defences have made battle pirates C R A P..

where we have criticism we have credit. I would like to say thankyou on be-half of all of battle pirates for the new sub features. They are fantastic. The spectator mode has proven fantastic. I also noticed that it takes two clicks on the ship tag on the right to bring it to your fleet, and one click to select the fleet making thing so much easier.

Perhaps it is time to suggest that you should release some of the drac hulls as blueprints.. and maybe an event to.. :)

    well done

I thought this was a PIRATE game! How many PIRATES have you heard of that fight fair? Sneaky "ninja" tactics are what PIRATES do. Is KIXEYE trying to make this more of a "Pirateville" (this is called an oxymoron).

maybe not shambles, but having a base defense fleet certainly causes base attack fleets to be re-configured. This update now flips the advantage to base attackers vice base attack killers. Oh well no ninja for me.

Base defence fleets don't come into my equation. My game is just unplayable, period. I couldn't even comment about how good or bad base defence fleets are as I can't use them for more than 1 reason

Hey at times i had to click attack upto 200times waiting for battle to end as people would be quick to move... That is skill enough
