Wait until you meet some A-hole with 5 dreadnoughts set up for blitzing. I think you'll change your tune. It doesn't matter what base setup you have, or how many howitzers you have, they'll sail right by them like they weren't even there. It's a joke. If KIXEYE doesn't get these rocket turrets out asap, then I might as well scrap the turrets I do have, because they are nothing more than lawn art. Come on KIXEYE, put it in gear. We need these things yesterday!
I agree with you stating that I'll change my mind, but I have dreadnaughts so I can counter an attack if my base does get flattend by 5 Dreadnaughts. 5 dreadnaughts = 15 mill total resources you can gather from a base. so unless they want to sacrifice 2000 tons they can put on the Large cargo hold that gives an extra 500k resource capacity. which then equals about 27mill they can get from a base. So in theory I'm safe, because dreadnaughts would be to week to actualy do damage with the extra 2000k cargo hold.
Thats a creeper fleet not a blitz fleet........if you sit outa howie ranges.....
lol Nope, just with my setup I target each howie with 2 ships as I'm sailing.. 2 ships to a howie as I'm moving.. the ONLY time I have to actually pause in an area is if there are 3-4 howies grouped. Otherwise my engine 3's are kicking it on the FF fleet.

My base is even set up so that I encourage looting over hitting my dock and shipyard, cause hell, res means **** all.
The point is, that if there is a strategy that allows you to simply bypass most defenses then defenses in the conventional sense become useless. may as well scrap them. and that goes against the balance that needs to exist in the game.
If rocket towers can essentially "blanket" a channel with murderous fire to seriously hamper a rush fleet then it might be a great addition. However, even with 14 towers it feels like you are short towers to set up a comprehensive defense. You are always going to leave yourself **** to the wind to SOME setup.
Maybe if they added a tower that HAS to be used with defensive weapons?? (flaks/bombards)?

lol.. there will not be any more land or platforms till they decide to release OP6. Stop asking for more land and turrets. They are not needed. All that is needed is for people to get out of their comfort zones and start thinking about base designs rather than comfotably relying on what used to work and whining about it.

Dear swag great idea's but let's just give us more turrets,land hell 2 special slot's on the base turrets would help way way way more than this the unbalance in the game is more firepower for ship's but same armor for base's du4 wall's and only 12 turrets.

Ditto... Anyone with a blitz fleet of dreadnaughts doesn't care about resources. They just care about crushing your base, and putting you out of commission for awhile. Then they'll repair their fleet with coin, and hit you again, repeatedly. We need to have a way to put a stop to this.
Yay no more blitzing as blitzing was never meant to be until those OP dreads came.
Never meant to be blitzing? that's all i did when I was a small fry I flattened lvl 29-30 base with levis... cause I could blitz. I've been playing this game for almost 2 years. Don't hate what you can't handle
i think the rockeet turrets would be a gr8 idea it will make my base better but u need another armour in between depleted uranium and tiatnium and increase the depleted uranium with something new a new armour and make depleter uranium higher so that the people with depleted uranium on there ships will have the armour replaced with the new armour with the same amount of defence points
this should happen on ships walls and turrets. also i think they should bring battle ships in the naval lab and make it so the naval lab can be upgraded once more for new cahnges. they should also have new guns and new base guns that should be researched in a level 11 weapons lab. they should also have a dock level 11 or 12 to make a fleet of hammer heads full on weight .

What are you talking about? I blitz with my FF's. Always have and will find a way to continue to do so. I cant drive 55 all the time.
