Adding more base armor to the subs is a wonderful idea.
It will cause for more thought into attacks, cannot just attack at will without any worry. However, there may still be a problem with this which I wont reveal here.

Why not make all fleets, if a ship is sunk, that sunk ships portion is deducted from the "carrying capacity"?

I mentioned this in another post in the General discussion forum. How about for a true balanced game you only attack people of the same level or higher? As has been pointed out, the discrepency between lvl 28 and 33 is huge. Anything really after lvl 25 just become a huge discrepency.. 25/30, 26/31.. The difference between those 2 levels is months and months of exp, playing, research, upgrades. Is this balanced? I'm sure someone with more experience than me can explain this better but if your lvl 20 you can be at lvl 25 in very short order Probably a week or less. . I think I spent almost 2 weeks at lvl 27 alone.
Now I'm sure a lot of this is done because once we get to lvl 25 you have us hooked on playing and you intentions are then to get us to whip out the CC to buy these upgrades.
I will explain how and when I will spend money.. When I get big enough that I feel I have a shot at winning a base invaders ship or something like that. If it takes me 5 months to get there, then thats when I will spend the money. If it takes 10 months then thats when it will happen. However the longer it takes me the more risk you have that I will get bored and find something else.

THINK........... KIXEYE see this in our coms and realise its just being done in harrasement to bigger players as there is no retribution back due to the bigger player not being able to hit the lower player as they are too low to be hit and that in its own right can be an unfair advantage to the smaller player
I would give the SUBS a 20 min repair without armour and possibly 200k resources to repair them
and bye the way i could take FFs down with BBs when i was a smaller player
