This change will take effect in conjunction with the new Base Patrol Fleet Feature, which should help to prevent any of the possible negative effects of removing these damage protection rules.

Nope, that doesn't work, tried that and it took half of my platforms to get a bubble. Meaning with a good base fleet they can just walk in by slowly working your defense.

For those who want to redesign their base, or who get rimmed often, I think you should keep the 1hr bubble regardless of damage. But I do agree than anything more than an hour needs to be done through damage or coin.

If folks are getting destroyed way to much they will leave the game. There was another game I used to play a lot with well over 100k in players.... then someone had a bright idea ( a bit like this one ) and made a change to allow more attacks on folks. Within 3 months the game populations were down to 50k players. At 6 months there was less 20k in players.
