    How about making it so players can enter a base whilst under attack?

    Have it so if anyone tries to enter during a attack they are put as defenders and will not take fire or do damage on the base.

    Although with this option I do see the attacker having a friend enter just after him so no-one else can.

    I dont believe in the ability to snipe someone as they leave a base. They player should have to or be able have a chance at getting away untouched by other players ships without having to break rules or click like a maniac to try escape. (the constant clicking trying to get someone as they come out would create some level of lag) if 500 sectors have one of these happening in each one this would create a fair bit of clutter

    Great now i get a sunk fleet i cant repair to go with my damaged dock, Not the best idea swag.

Good luck being low levels now :) KIXEYE want to force low levels to use CC to get up in levels and this solution will also make CC players even stronger and the non-CC players weaker!

    Hopefully this will result in the addition of more and stronger ships to research in the naval lab. As well as maybe even a few more weapons and armors?

    You will only be allowed to set 1 fleet to patrol at a time.
    he wasn't talking about putting out multiple fleets... he's talking about one fleet out with 25 D53's (assault missiles) at the end of the channel so it is the last thing that the attacking fleet would engage, there is no way that any fleet is going to make all the way through the base defenses AND the defending fleet.
    Folks, the KIXEYE team puts their lives into these games (me included). The simple fact is that we have the luxury of not having to put up with rude **** and disrespect will not be tolerated towards ANY KIXEYE team member. Understood?

    You can currently deploy a fleet outside of your base to defend it. While this can be helpful in defending your base, we feel that players should also have the ability to have a fleet to defend inside of the base as well.

    We will be implementing a feature that allows players to deploy a single fleet within their base that will attack invading fleets. Players will be able to set an attack radius of the fleet to customize how far away a fleet will travel to engage enemy ships. This gives players the ability to prevent the patrolling fleet from being “kited” (lured) away from the base.

    If a player is present when their base is being attacked by an enemy fleet, the player will be free to control the patrolling ships how they see fit.
    this is a good feture but you should also give us more time in bases so we can combat with the new base defence system 5mins insent enuff time to deal with a fleet and a base at same time

    I don't really like this idea. I like how bases are now, where no matter what level you are, your base is never 100% safe from being flattened. This may tip the scale to the other side. Also it would require an extra hit to take this fleet out. While I rarely need 4 hits, usually just 2, there is still that factor that I know only have a total of 3 tries to take out this base. Also, I would assume the damage of this fleet would go towards the total percentage of damage to the base. A full fleet of FFs with DU4 would be a considerable amount to destroy before prepping the base has even started.

    So it would seem you would need to send SWs in first, to take out the fleet. Retreat, then send in the base fleet. Oh, to bad, your base fleet got destroyed while you were prepping the base. I guess timing would be crucial. Even if things go well, a hit could go something like this:

    First hit: Scout the base. Wrong side for fleet battle. Move the fleet.

    Second hit: Destroy the guarding fleet

    Third hit: Switch to basing fleet and prep the base's turrets for invasion

    Fourth hit: Full fledged attack.

    So while we can fit this into current bubble rules, it leaves very little margin for error.

    I for one do not like this idea. It is bad enough trying to sneak into a sector to attack a base without coming out to 10 fleets surrounding your base fleet. Then trying to have 2 fleets around if your lucky to be unnoticed while you prep the base. Being in a sector with chat comms and socializing is part of the game if you like it or not. Your buddies should be able to protect you if you want an idea. Attacking a base should give the base attacking fleet a 5 sec vulnerability where the sectors players can interrupt you and engage in combat. This would allow friends to watch your back. If you are an outcast, then suffer the results.

    Stupid Stupid Stupid what so we hit a base with a base fleet not a fvf fleet and we now got to kill a fleet in a base that will be set up for fleet fighting when you base fleet is not wtf before we can hit the base dumbest idea i ever herd!!!!!!!!!! Hey Kixeye do you ever play your game mmmm i guess not so ill tell you a base fleet is one that you can kill turrets wh and op with a fvf fleet is a fleet you use in fighting fleets both very different!!!!!!!!!!

    How will this work togheter with missiles ?
    For example: ill have my fleet placed in a channel close to turrets and somebody uses a pinch.
    A pinch does longer damage against buildings then against fleets.
    for example the missile will not recognize fleets or buildings and then all freeze for the same time so when that its getting equell, there is not really an advantage to place a fleet in a channel for example..

    Just scared there will be glitches in it...

    Restrictions on bubbling are fine. No fleet battles in bases though. Thats a great way to lose players that really like the game and have been playing for a while.

    I hope they allow all fleets you can make for base patrol. If you earned the fleet you should be able to use it. It will make things interesting.. definatly.

    1 SFB3 HH fleet inside the entrance with the set allowance all du4 base on a base that is already just about impossible to bust is now impossible. It take a level 39 fleet with siege mortars and a large pincher to get in my base as it is. now bases like mine will not be busted so what the point of doing base attacks????

    2 again the game in being updated with no regard that players have not had time to adjust to the last updates.

    3 it is already hard enough to get in the base in the 5 min time allotment at the higher level now there going to be a fleet to deal with??? was this taken into consideration???

    4 repair times- now there more to repair time. so we are to have a fleet to repair every time we come on line with anywere from 3 to 12 hours of repair.

    5 I got a ID instead of adding to the game that keeps the player always playing catch up what not give us some stuff to catch up to the game thats been asked for like a refit dock or lower refit times. or are you trying to drive plaer out the game at the higher level??

    6 As i said be for in other post BUILD A BETTER BASE This is not needed in the game. there is enough that with some thinking in a Strategy Game you can even keep the mighty DN out!!!
    1/2 Repair time is more then enough to keep the game in check!!
    if raids are going to happen every month then fleets should be able to be built in a month!

    I agree dude. What the heck are kixeye developers thinking? changing the game for the worse.... They don't play it so they don't understand that every time they push a new "development" into the game, the players have to scramble to stay on top of them. And if they don't explain them well enough then we don't fully under stand what they are for.

    The Slide loader. I was saying what do I use this on??? I finally figure out that good against anti-mortar must mean its for use with the Victory Mortar. that was my only clue.
    Lets make these new developments a little easier to understand what they are for if you are going to dump them on us every few weeks......

    whether the game updates or not should have nothing to do with whether you have already adjusted or not. Its up to you to keep up. Not for the game to slow down.

    once again prepping with a fleet fighter will help a lot. Remember they are also talkin about removing the 4 hit and 10 hit bubbles. So there will be a lot more freedom in this regard.

    This is completely wrong. Running out of stuff to work towards is what drives players out of the game. New content to work towards is exactly what the top players want

    6 As i said be for in other post BUILD A BETTER BASE This is not needed in the game. there is enough that with some thinking in a Strategy Game you can even keep the mighty DN out!!!

    Actually this is needed. The balance is currently heavily in favour of the attacker. If a dreadnought fleet is built right. There is currently no possible setup that comes even close to stopping them. I'm not complaining. Its a simple fact.

    If your base is regularly sinking dreadnought fleets then i'm sorry but your attackers simply do not know how to build them

    This has got to be one of the worst ideas ever. First it was people **** about fleets being overpowered now they are overpowering bases. Unless we can send in two fleets or expand current fleet capacity hitting bases will come to a stand still unless you CC heavily and instant repair your fleets.

    square bases going to become a lot more interresting....with more freedom of movement for defending fleet.....and turrets on borders of land.....to give direct fire support to fleets.....i think this will make things real interresting.......just means more planning and intel gathering before hitting a base

    Jupp i a going to build a square base also then i can kite the attacking fleet around my base while turrets fire from land!

    I am a good joy in comms, i never meet anyone that doesn't like me since i am very helpful and never cause drama or starts fight with people in sector! But that you are noob that is there no doubt about. I am probably more skilled than your best friend or he can't be better than me since there isn't a lvl 30+ base in this game i have failed on! Got proof on youtube also hehe :)

    hmmm...I think attacking times should be increased and maybe also nerf the defending fleet as I don't want an SFB 3 fleet sniping my mortar FFs while it is traveling through the channel. If both are at full power base defending will become OP and impossible to destroy them

    Should we take away all turrets as well for you so you can have a clean run grow some balls man!

    Another feature helping the big guys/ladies to get even stronger. They will stick 4 x DN behind the base... who stands a chance then ??
