Predator Submarine Armor Adjustment

The Predator Submarines currently have a base armor value of 80. This means that if Predators are not equipped with any additional armor and have small flagship, they can instant repair. After several months of seeing how the Predator is being used in combat, we feel that they should not be able to instant repair.

We will be buffing the base armor value of Predator Submarines to ensure that no fleet combination of “4 Predators + a small flagship” will allow for an instant repair time.

    Alright i understand the logic behind this i use to always instant repair the subs without any armor and i know many other players did this but i'm guessing this may effect some players salvaging but it's ok with me now since i have SFB 3.

    I havent used subs since the release of SFB, it is a shame subs now will not be instant repair anymore because of some players abusing them to grief other players...

    How about we fix instant repair glitch before we go worrying about instant fix subs!

    people will try to use the glitch for subs so forcing them to use it more foten and get detected by the system

    Will anyone still use predator subs after this, or will people avoid them like they seem to do for the stalker subs, because the repair times seem like they would always be too long relative to the damage capabilities?

    Who cares about repairing if you don't get damaged...so yes

    I feel that this will disadvantage the lower players as a lot of them use subs to salvage

    i feel its about time low levels not get to attack with the annoying subs and then repair and bring them right back out. if they were only be able to used for salvaging then it would be ok to keep the same

    I want my resources and gold to cover researching hav 1-4 and the subs.

    I coinedhalf my research and sub bp's because it was a instant repair fleet!

    awesome! i hardly use my subs other than to take out other subs anyway. i only have 2 preds and 2 stalkers that i use rarely

    Great. Sucks for new players, but any player in the month range+ this is good for. At least now all the base fleet whiners can shut up abit.

    This goes 2 ways, Lower players will cry, and bigger players will try to stomp on lower players again.
    I have a fleet of subs no armor eng3 and hav4, I also have wolfs with eng3 booster3 lazer3 and no armor.

    I say leave subs way they are. Give little guy a chance. If he can get into his base fix his fleet so be it. Sink him again.
    Most people that cry about subs are higher players that lose lev 38 fleet to lev 6 fleet of subs.

First of all, lvl 22's with subs really shouldn't be able to take down lvl 8 and 9 salvs so ez in first place. 2nd, anyone that has half a brain doesn't take any damage on subs on salvage anyway except by accident. The only criers about this should be the low life's that scoot around hitting miners with subs.

    Subs will still have a use for the mid levels , but now with the instant repair gone , if you make a mistake on a lvl 9 salvage you`ll be put out of action for a while .

    a low level should come with a fleet repeatedly to take high level platers out

    for me subs are little more than an annoyance but players around lvl 24 to 28 get damaged by low level subs that just come right back out

    If subs are increased so should sw's they are only 8mins relair without armour and are a much more devestating fleet
