If your base has fallen victim to becoming somebodies personal resource farm don't despair there are smart ways to go from prey to predator.
Here are some key tips that will help turn the tide into your favor:
1. Make your Base UNFARMABLE
This is a lot simpler than it sounds, first off your attacker is attacking you because your base is a) Weaker than the rogue faction and b) Attacking you gives them more resources for less risk. Now the first step to changing that is by getting your Attack Pattern as they are only human and most likely have a job/school which means they have a limited window of of time in which to attack you. Once you figured out this attack pattern you should startHiding Resources during his attacking time, to do it is very simple all you need to do is research the most expensive tank and infantry you can and upgrade the most expensive building that isn't a defensive structure. By Hiding Resources you deny it to your attacker making them actually pay more for the attack than they are getting
2. Make the most of Damage Protection
The best thing you can do during Damage Protection is upgrade your turrets and mortars because your base wont be placed at risk, its also a great time to farm rogue factions for more resources. Basically use Damage Protection to strengthen your base and boost your resources
3. Use your Defensive Structures wisely
Defensive structures are key to making your base a nightmare to farm and if they are placed poorly even level 10 turrets and mortars wont save your base from becoming a smoldering pile of ash, its always smart to place a turret and mortars near each other as they compliment each other with the turret keeping the mortar save from air attacks and the mortar pounding any tanks that would threaten the turret. Also placing walls right next to defensive structures will make the walls suck up some of the damage that would of being given to the defensive structure. If your base keeps getting leveled try moving your base layout doing so will help you find the best way to defend your base
4. ATTACK ATTACK ATTACK!!!
This is the final step, but you need to keep in mind that if you are going to attack you need to have your attacking forces capable of leveling your targets base. If you think you cant do that in 3 turns your not ready and you should hold off on attacking and strengthen your units first. The most important thing is once you start attacking you don't show mercy, attack your opponent without mercy. The best time to attack would be when your target cant retaliate so try hitting them when you think they may be sleeping or busy at school or work
When you are the Attacking party you should remember how much Damage Protection is given for the damage you caused
0%-49% = 0 hours Damage Protection
50% - 74% = 18 hours of Damage Protection
75% - 100% = 36 hours of Damage Protection
Also Remember attacking in it self will also give Damage Protection
3 Attacks = 3 hours of Damage Protection
10 Attacks in 24 hours without retaliation = 24 hours of Damage Protection
Hopefully this will help you

What is a "splash"?
splash damage means that surrounding buildings also receive damage because of the explosions of the shells/missiles

Ehh... Paladins lvl 6 can outrange turrets, so the best way to stop being farmed, is to redesign your base. Look in my base building guide (link in my sig) For tips
