That is true, but the grand prizes are given to the bullies that ruin the game for anyone that is trying to work up to become a higher level. That is the problem I'm mainly seeing. I am a lvl 29 but with the bullies that have bigger ships hitting bases makes it hard for anyone to level up. When some kill salvages to get there res, to fill there stocks, and then get hit by someone that has the better ships that some can't get cause the res they work on saving up gets taken away all the time making them farms for bullies that just hit bases of lower levels that can't defend themselves.
My response to that is the same as my response to anyone that gets bullied in any other facet of life: learn to fight back. Bullies pick on you because you're weak. Plain and simple. If you show them that you aren't weak, they won't pick on you anymore. Trust me, there are ways for lower levels to fight back if they learn the game. And if all else fails, they can get somebody bigger to come fight for them until they get strong enough to do it themselves.
But let's forget about bullying for a second and consider what would happen if a level 20 player got one of these Dreadnoughts. First off, they likely wouldn't even be able to use the thing as I imagine it would require FFs as a prerequisite, not to mention the Dock restrictions. And if they could somehow build one and put it in a fleet, you've just exposed level 15 bases to a monster of a ship that they would have no hope of defeating. How is that fair?
By limiting these monster ships to high-level players, you make it so they can only attack bases that might actually be able to defeat it. And if you're worried about FvF, I have some bad news for you. I'm perfectly capable of bullying you with my Sea Wolves so the Dreadnought doesn't even factor into that equation.
...bigger ships hitting bases makes it hard for anyone to level up. When some kill salvages to get there res, to fill there stocks, and then get hit by someone that has the better ships that some can't get cause the res they work on saving up gets taken away all the time making them farms...
I think there is a 'gap' of sorts that starts when a player hits 24 or 25 and continues until all of their defense platforms are level 4. These players are easier targets for players level 29 and up, and therefore find it harder to get enough resources for various upgrades. Addressing this 'gap' would be a good thing, but it is not something that will be easy to figure out, and it's not some thing related to this event.
I have met several intelligent individuals in my lifetime. However, in my experience, people are ignorant and unthinking.

i do not see myself wasting time in this event, i have no hope of wining the ship and the armour is weaker than the forsaken armour specials....so nah waste of time but ty for such a epic multiplayer minigame
Hi there, no one has answered this question unfortunatly, i can assume its probably classes a building... just wouldnt mind it being confirmed. will weapon bonus still have an effect on the drac base? for example... mortars doing base damage of say 300 against ships but 600 against buildings. will the drac base count as a "building" so damage multiplayers can take effect?

I am level 29 and my main farms are level 27-28 lol....24's and 25's just dont have enough resources to waste my time on
What about launched missles? 4 players with the level 3 Bunker Buster could do over 40,000 damage to the drac base because from what I've seen their bases are a whole and not spread out like ours. Plus the pinches would make it too easy to kill whatevers guarding the base. Im not sure if this was considered or not, but I'd like to know.
dont do it if u are going to release this ship u need to bring out new and better stuff for bases or every base will be easy to get through in 1 fleet of this ship

Have you ever attacked a level 8 cargo fleet? Have you noticed how fast this thing moves? It will have to have Engine III in order to have any hope of making it to the end of the gauntlet in 5 minutes. Forget about actually shooting at the WH and OP.

"Answer a fool according to his folly, or he will be wise in his own eyes." (Proverbs 26:5)
The very first Base Invaders event is starting soon! During this event the Draconians are stepping up their campaign to colonize and crush the sectors currently occupied by the Forsaken. Using the resources gathered during the last four Revenge Raids, the Dracs will start construction of their mighty war bases. Expect Draconian construction sites to arrive quickly and be very well guarded. Count on their best fleets and heaviest defense platforms to be deployed as they seek to delay and deter any Forsaken response. They are highly organized.
But in their hubris they have underestimated the Forsaken yet again. Incomplete Drac bases have only a tiny fraction of the power a fully operational base would have, which gives the Forsaken an opportunity to strike. In preparation for this very day the Forsaken Council has been training their Captains to join forces and work cooperatively. Up to four players can now join forces in a single battle to create huge armadas of Forsaken ships - an unstoppable force to overcome any immovable object. No, the Dracs will not see this coming...
So Captains, be cooperative, be brave, be victorious, and we will all prevail!
Combat Rules
This event is primarily a multiplayer combat event. To succeed you will need to group up with other players and attack as a combined force. The more players you fight alongside, the less damage you will take and the faster you will achieve the event prizes.
Quota and leaderboard points are awarded from the damage you do to Drac base platforms and ships.
Looted resources no longer count toward quota and leaderboard points.
Draconian bases are numbered like player bases. They are also level locked like player bases. Which means that you can only attack Drac bases within +/- 5 levels of your level.
Loot is given equally to all players in the same battle whenever any single Drac platform or ship is destroyed. The more powerful the Drac base the more loot is given from destroying it. Players will be able to over-loot up to 5x just as when attacking player bases.
Up to four players can be in combat against a Draconian Outpost at one time.
Battles are 'rolling' which means that players can join while other players are already in combat.
A yellow glow around a Draconian Outpost means that it has less than 4 players attacking it, and you are able to join the battle if you so choose.
A red glow around a Draconian Outpost means that the maximum 4 players are already in combat and you cannot join.
Only Draconian Outposts support 4 player battles. Salvages, player bases, etc. are still single fleets, or a maximum of 2 players.
There is no Friendly Fire! You cannot attack or damage other players' ships while in combat against a Draconian Outpost.
Each player can only have 1 fleet in a multiplayer battle.
Prizes
Due to the epicness of the event a suitably epic prize has been garnered. The blueprint to the largest Draconian ship to date, the mighty Dreadnought, has been found and will be given to the top 4 players in each sector. Not the best 4 player group but the best 4 players. Nevertheless, grouping up with 4 other players will lead to less damage to your ships and quicker progression in the event.
Please note, leaderboard/quota points are generated from the damage done to Drac platforms and defending ships. Looted resources no longer count toward leaderboard/quota points.
Sector Prize: Draconian Dreadnought Hull for the top 4 players. 8 Weapons, 4 armors, 4 specials, 13000 total weight.
Quota Prize: Draconian Compound Armor. Reduces damage taken from all surface weapons.
Extra Information
Repairs time will be halved during the event and Salvage fleets will drop off in number as the Draconian channel more of their resources into constructing bases. Player relocation will also be off.
Good luck Captains! Cooperate with your Forsaken brethren and show the Draconians the righteous power of the Forsaken Alliance!
i really cannot w8 for the battle (7hours) however this new dreadnought seems a bit too overkill... 8 weps, 4 amrour and 4 special slots!! and 4 players can have this hull.. im gonna get jealous of other players having them and all the cc's are gonna take full advantage and i wouldnt mind having a nice hull like dat and i know for an absolute definate dat im never gonna get a sector reward (im lvl 27), however i think each player who has this amazing hull should only have one per fleet because having a whole fleet of them would be rediculous and no base would be safe..
thanks

ih ave a couple of questionns..
1. Will dracs have their own defense weapons or the forsaken ones?
2. Can subs damage the drac base(as they seems to be water based structures like oil rigs)
3. Do rocket damage count to the damage you did?
Please make this one event, guaranteed forsaken truce.Allow no accidental/purposely hitting fleets,no base attacks. This will cause more people to work together and eliminate accidental fleet hitting, like when you get out of a battle(time out)and they try to join and initiate with you..

I'll start off by saying welcome to the great changes by Kixeye. The battleship, which you see on the level 9 salvage was not there during the first revenge raid, it was only on the level 9 mines, and as anyone can tell you a lvl 9 mine equals a lvl 7 salvage, so the 8 would be harder. The original lvl 9 salvage was comprised of a dreadnaught and 4 regular floating fortresses, as this was before the introduction of the drac ships. It was one of the things that Kixeye changed over the duration of the game, as well as the lvl 8s had a hh in them for a brief stint. And for your information I will guarantee you that the battleship moves faster than the dreadnaught as we can tell already by hitting these salvages.
Well i may win here, only prob is i believe there are 2 hackers here,Marcasm and God of War...they cant get by raid checks,or itll hurt my chances,i already had my friend report them

Raid checks kind of unreliable lol i had someone report of getting HH hull a month after the raid due that the players above him were found cheating (top 5 lmao)
first off looks like FUN
cant wait to sink my teeth into those pesky dracs
any news on the quota targets ?
im gonna be away for a large part of this raid but can see the importance in getting the top quota prize for future hitting of base's both drac(if they stick around after the event) and forsaken.

yes think thay need to do some new base guns to help keep your base safe as for that ship will kill your base with just 1 of them
It should be like the Tier-system: Quota 3 lvls...lvl 1: small hull; lvl 2: medium hull; lvl 3: big hull...and the best: the giantic Dreadnought.
If lower lvl-player could win a hull too, it would be more attractive to play on the event.

Pffff
If the battle is yellow and you join it, there isn't much they can do to stop you. You're now working together and they can't sink you.
Now that i like

No its not. If you dont want someone to win dont help him. He cant do it alone.
You can decide who wins the ship....
Dont help the guy whos been there for 3 days.
Dont help the guy who bullies people
Dont help the guy who coins everything.
help the guy who opens salvage for people
help the guy who refuses to hit in sector
help the guy who who has been around for a long time.
If you team up with aholes and help them win a ship to farm you then you get what you deserve.
this is your chance to help a nice guy finish 1st.
