Threatening kixeye when you KNOW you were the one breaking rules, of which you agree to.
You can spend money, but if you dont want to lose your "investment"; Don't break the rules.
Kixeye should make this a sticky thread somewhere as an example of the fact they do look for hackers, and that no one is exempt from being banned from the game for hacking.
Also - nice job by kixeye catching this cheater. Totally owned. Runner-up in that sector is going to be one happy person.

Heh, that is how the hack works. Banning accounts won't do much to deter the cheaters as they just make another account and are right back in the game.
So what we get is Kixeye wasting time trying to find hackers while bugs that should have been fixed a long time ago go unfixed. Too easy to hack combined with Kixeye's brutal monetization scheme equals a dead game within 60 days. Something has to give and I doubt a complete rewrite of the backend is happening anytime soon.
I love that they caught him but I fear this game is going down the tubes because of hackers.....I have played since October or so and it's apparent the hacking is getting out of control. The honest people are the majority for now but in months I agree this game will be in big trouble. Very disappointing.......I am compiling some stuff to report to you shortly, but it will take you a week to go through just what I send you

And different people work on different things. It's possible to fix bugs, code new content, and ban hackers all at the same time.

I don't see anywhere on those screen shots that says that is the complainer's fleets. Heck I can use photoshop and produce the same images. How can you honestly say those screen shots belong to that player? It could be anyones. I give everyone the benefit of doubt until there is no doubt left.
I live only about an hour away from San Francisco. I would happily stop by with a case of beer or other desired beverage. All i ask is that a new hull is introduced into the game. I have even provided all the stats and a graphic.
