    They certainly work and most definitely help to crack previous design copies out there. A few tweaks of the defense to help stop them though and a bit of effort and "most" average drivers can be stopped. Give it time, it won't take long before there's working designs and more tech out there for people to grab.

    I recently returned so I am missing a whole bunch of tech and hull builds.  When is the base defense tech going to be available again?  There isn't much offered in Pillage.

    Well here is a heads up stun resistant panels do not work against infiltrators. I used two different ones and there is no difference between them and not using them. :)

    They are unreal; A fleet of them went through my base with 0% Damage.

    LoL, watch the defender hull be another one we need U1 to make it even somewhat useful.

    No it isn't, not really. Kix may throw a couple minor tweaks to base defense out there, but nothing substantial. They don't want to jeopardize the income coming from the whales and their credit card/point and click fleets.

    The best way to combat this (as I've said it before) make your base SUPER EASY!!!!!

    Then laugh at those that spent $$$ getting their U1 fleet to smash your base when a solo Spite could do it with a single weapon, also while thanking them for making your game play free :wink:

    Look at this differently, rather than moaning about getting flattened all the time, turn it round so you know when your base gets hit, it will be flattened, so you dont get mad about it.

    If you want to set up a defence, the only building that you should truly defend, I'd say would be your dock. Put all the building that are needed out the front, so the attacker doesnt need to "enter" your base, then set all turrets defence etc etc around your dock. That way, most will go for the easy win, and you can still get your fleets out and "play"

    Yeah they will they do it with every last tear upgrade nothing new .And with out a new crew the Infiltrator is not all that good they take to long to kill a base 
    think you forgot about players first

    The way things run last couple years at least its always simmilar, on hitters side 10 months favored , on defenders side the remaining 2 of the year, the majority of hitters of now days are softies that look only for victories when the the game is 100% turned on theyr favor, just look at what happens when any new defence comes out, with few bright exceptions the 90% of hitters hiding in theyr bases untill they get something that will make base hitting a walk in the park, you see only few brilliant hitters hiting no matter what, all you see going arround is the big fishes dumping in theyr alt accounts and hit hit with almost 0 medals to drain smaller groups and make theyr group look as the champions of the day.
    This game long as this crap with medals keeps going on will never have a healthy competition , one way or another only 1 wins here and that is kixeye, and a small bounch of people that have the wallet to do whatever they like.
    And its not fair to blame the coiners, its just the wrong path that kixeye following last years, the creativity died from kixeye side long ago, and all we see is the same ideas slightly recycled again and again.
    Personaly im a coiner as well , i dont spent a fortune here of course but i spent ennough, for every  part of the game, either defence or base hitting, or for help others in theyr tasks.
    But to be honnest the game have become very discouraging as we deal evry single day the same stuf for 11 years, nothing realy motivating.
    Look for how long players asking theyr base limmits to get some expansion, the good old 5 land tiles we was getting back in the days, ranges of current basers like longshots make the players struggle to fit stuff properly to have a chance for decent defence and , the defender ships on the other side become useles, when you get a defender with lonbg range is weak on damage when you get sort range one is powerfull but dies from getting outranged easy.
    They are many things that need a hard core change in this game, but the real deal is that kix dont give a penny about it.
    Eventualy the game will end up as Sputnik said with outposts outside , just look at how many bases from 140   150 lvl are abandoned, and many of them of well known players, that they give up from getting fed up

    But you're right. 

    & if your base is super easy, & your portals are apart from the rest of the important stuff, they'll likely be left. 
    Better still, have an easy base and hard base, just save one of them and then switch between as needed

    A few tweaks and a bit of effort. A lot of those so called average drivers have learnt how to drive this fleet now and join the really good drivers. I noticed you didn't say anything about being able to stop the good drivers. When nothing avail can inflict sufficient damage and all a decent driver needs to do is drive in and prep out all your turrets and most of your guard I think its about time to admit they are over powered. To add insult to injury if you didn't buy the infil upgrade you're now stuck with trying to balance upgrading your confessor fleet only to have a new level to upgrade to then throw in Gambits X1 as well. Oh did I mention those trying to still upgrade their infils now also need to look at building a new defender hull and OH yeah wait for it then UPGRADE it. This is a game by a company that needs to make a profit, that's good business sense, So don't blame Kix or the Whales either coin up or shut up. By shut up I mean stop playing. That is what a lot of players are doing. I have a target level to hit, then I will quit. I play my way but that doesn't mean I give up trying.

    You're right, timed out with the Spite (R4) against an unarmoured OP
