Upgrading Barracks

Does anyone know if upgrading the barracks unlocks Series II units for War Production? And if so, what level does the barracks need to be? Thanks

    In 2 hrs my dozer will be done upgrading barracks to lvl 31,it said before i started upgrade,production and repair of series 2 units will increase.I can't say for sure if i will be able to use a series 2 unit for the war production till its done.

    It doesnt. I rushed that upgrade myself thinking that at max it would, but it sadly doesnt. All it does is make series 2 units build faster.
