New feature idea :- Central sector hub build and defend.

Battle pirates is sorely in need of new features, to evolve and grow.
Its perpetual cyclic nature for many has made it stagnate , routines become boredom.
However its difficult to find a way to add to the game in a natural way.

My idea would be for each sector to have a central hub, around the centre relay.
The hub would start of each day or weekly with a reset to a basic state.
Maybe similar to the old drac bases with the 4 wings.
Each player within the sector, can take pvp fleets in to drop off resources, to build a certain objective, such as turret clusters, an OP , base guard etc.
The resources needed would be a large amount, so a collective effort from the whole sector would be required, say 1 fleet would be maybe 0.1% or some such.
Other sectors could then attack the hub, so would initiate a battle, maybe similar to expeditions, or kixeye employee bases, but with pvp fleets, each person their own battle, relative to the objective they wish to steal resources from (which would be then taken to their own sector hub). No stupid high damage to be dealt, the idea is to promote collective sector envolvement at any level.
At the end of each day, or week, depending on balance etc The sector hub would pay out to everybody in the sector tokens.
Size of tokens dependant upon the % of hub at reset.
i.e 25% 1 x set of 4 hour tier tokens, or a small chest containing a selection, depends on balance ofc so as not to affect game massively.
50% a medium chest with 8 hour tokens, 75% large chest 12 hour tokens. 100% legendary 24 hour tokens. Depends if its a daily or weekly reset , but you get the idea. With a fairly small cap on amount of tokens can be stored, of each size.
1 x pve ship build token
1 x pve ship upgrade token
1 x pvp ship build token
1 x pvp ship upgrade token
1 x structure build token
1 x structure repair token
1 x pve ship repair token
1 x pvp ship repair token
Each player can only be paid out from 1 sector each reset. Dependant on where they were at hub closure.

Idea probably needs some tweaking and ofc balancing.
The idea is to give something to players for working together even if they are solo players.
It will promote more fleet battles, as large alliances will go hit each others hubs so they each get less tokens etc.
May need to slightly enlarge the footprint around centre relay, so player bases are not so close as to cause high lag.

More ideas expanding on this welcome :)

    This sounds like a blast, and just the kind of thing this game could use. Like you said, it could use probably some tweaking but sounds like it would be fun. I hope Kixeye listens to you.

    Thanks , just tried to think of something a little different, but still fitting in with nature of the game.
    Also that everyone could join in with at whatever pace they wanted, whether solo or allied.

    Seems kix isn't interested though, or they get so many new feature ideas they don't have time to reply to them all.......
