Battle Pirates is Crashing both itself and my Browser

As the title. since the raid thats just been started, Battle Pirates is for a start unplayable with lag, my base screen was running at around about 3fps at all times. The map and in battle werent much better, so I lost out on that over the weekend.

but now, its even worse. the base framerate is better, but still at around 10fps. But the game keeps crashing itself (game window suddenly going to the "Plugin has crashed" error image)

Not only that, the game is also either glitching out and occasionally completely crashing my browser when it is running, things like when I switch tabs it shows content from the previous tab I just left in areas on the new tab (mainly video players like on youtube) or causing all other tabs to run impossibly slow.  Note these things ONLY happen when Battle Pirates is running. if I close out of battle pirates the problems immediately stop. These problems have also only started since the beginning of the latest raid. They have not happened before so its clearly something to do with the latest game update. 

I'm not running a slow PC. Specs:
Intel i7 7700K @4.60GHz CPU
16GB DDR4 2400MHz RAM
AMD Radeon 6700XT 12GB GPU
Windows 10 (and chrome) running on an SSD

I haven't spent any money on BP so I cant send a support ticket 
Even if there aren't any solutions to solve this, At least posting it here means I am making Kix aware of the issue so they could figure out what's gone wrong.

Have you tried to run it in another browser? It is running okay for me on an i5 with 8GB, integrated graphics and Mozilla browser. I am not getting any crashing but load times seem to be slower than before the update.

its sad indeed i have a similar system . kixeye will always say its the "players" problem that way they dont admit any fault, there's absolutely NO reason your system shouldnt handle kixeyes site OTHER than  kixeyes servers ..and yes its on the GAME end.unforunately for you ,,myself and everyone else we are where we are @ kixeye's mercy,,and trust me ive spent thousands in this game  IN OVER 9 YEARS+  and have the COUGHS  ,,,VIP   service ,,even with that they cannot help me or my base with any issues.your not alone here ..sad indeed it is

Stop using Chrome, it's a RAM killer. Use Opera.

I know how much RAM chrome uses, but that is not causing the issue. Chrome is currently using 1.5GB of my 16GB RAM, with 11 tabs including battle pirates open.

I'll give you a hint, it's not Kixeye.

Its absolutely blimmen Kixeye if I've been running this game in chrome with no issues for the last... 10+ years and suddenly after a new game update it breaks.  So no, I can't see why only 10% of my avalible RAM being taken would cause an issue.
