Formation Buttons

I have been playing the game for many years and what I think we need is a strategy button for attack formations. Instead of things being clumped together and taking more damage then different formations such as arrow head, extended line and even fire teams would be great so you distract with one team attack with another. With leaders also like officers who boost rest of the team
Anybody else think this would be beneficial.

tell me in what base arrow formation would be useful?  WC is not that kind of game that you need a formation. if u wanna spread your unit a little press X button on keyboard

I get arrow head but extended line and fire teams I think are all valid. Will try the X thanks for the tip on that

I have seen videos where units which are deployed have numbers to them and I don't exactly know what that is? Can anyone explain that to me please ?

click the toons you want then click shift then any number you want only when you attack

thanks for the tip works really well and allows you to send in units at different stages
