NOVEMBER EVENT TARGETS

Despite the excellent performance of our fleets, the Legion still resists. Scouts have also reported the presence of Scourge vessels in Legion bases. This alliance is an unconscionable threat to the safety of the Forsaken, and must be crushed post-haste! Our intelligence agents have compiled a list of what you may be facing

ASSAULT TARGETS

(NEW) S-Targets

Codename 130: The scouts report that this target lacks the Fogcutter missile system. The  Nessus CIC-equipped Pegasus hulls should specialize in this target.

Codename 132: Captains should be cautious in this target. The Legion have set up a number of dangerous Fogcutters. The higher speed Turin CIC-equipped Pegasus hulls will perform well in this target.

NOTE: Both S Targets can be completed with both CICs! The 130 is tactically suited to the Nessus CIC, and the 132 is tactically suited to the Turin CIC.

B-Targets

These Targets are designed for Saturn/Nemesis X, but are also open to T6 and T7 Assault hulls.

SIEGE TARGETS

A-Targets

These Targets are open to last season's top Siege hull, the Dragoon. Also included is an experimental target for the Scoundrel.

C-Targets

These Targets are open to any PvE hull, but it’s recommended to use Shrikes and Eradicators. Buccaneers or Hydras can also engage, but they face a greater threat. There is a Tier 8.0 point reduction.

ASSAULT TURRETS

FOGCUTTER MISSILE (TURRET - HIGH THREAT)

This new weapon, codenamed ‘Fogcutter’, is a new Legion long-range missile. Legion technology allows them to see into clouds, but limits their field-of-fire. The missiles themselves are slow, but will deal significant damage to any unfortunate Captain who finds themselves slow enough to be in the splash zone. Keep moving!

Damage Type: Penetrating

TESTUDO MISSILE (TURRET - HIGH THREAT)

The Legion has been investing in their missile technology. This system, codenamed ‘Testudo’, is a high-damage midrange missile. These turrets are a huge threat to our fleets, and should be taken out quickly.

Damage Type: Penetrating

MODIFIED TEMPEST LAUNCHER (Turret - Moderate Threat)

It seems that Legion engineers have been getting cozy with the Scourge, and have developed their own Corrosive Launcher. This short-range turret deals a significant amount of Corrosive damage to any Captain who is foolish enough to get within range.

Damage Type: Corrosive

MISSILE COUNTERMEASURE (Turret - Low Threat)

The Legion know we’ve stolen the technology for their Pegasus hulls, and have started to equip their bases with appropriate anti-missile defenses. These turrets won’t deal direct damage to a ship, but will reduce the damage of their attack against other turrets and vessels.

Damage Type: Anti-Missile

ASSAULT HULLS

DAGGERTOOTH (Hull - Moderate Threat)

The Daggertooth is a mainstay hull for the Scourge, and it looks like it’s seen some damage output improvements thanks to assistance from Legion engineers. It’s still not a hull built for taking damage though. Look to outrange these ships when possible!

Damage Type: Corrosive

VIPERFISH (Hull - High Threat)

Toughness, speed, and high damage are hallmarks of the Viperfish. Though it’s partner hull, the Ghostcrawler, hasn’t been spotted anywhere that doesn’t make this hull any less dangerous. Slower hulls will have trouble kiting these ships. Keep an eye out Captains.

Damage Type: Corrosive

STONEFISH (Hull - Moderate Threat)

The Stonefish hull is tough-as-nails, though it’s damage output isn’t the highest. Watch that it doesn’t soak up damage intended for the other Scourge hulls.

Damage Type: Penetrating

T8.5 Experimental Assault CICs

Your scientists have worked around the clock to adapt to the combined threat of the Legion above water and the Scourge below.

Dealing high damage to a single ship, Testudo Turrets are able to pick off ships one by one. This reduces your attacking fleet’s firepower and removes one of the shared survival auras, making it easier to take down the next hull. In response to this, your team has developed the Nessus-X and Turin-X. This X-class technology incorporates all the abilities of the base model and adds armor transfer abilities leveraged by the Buccaneer’s Boon and Gluttony. This effectively converts single-hull damage into shared damage, maximizing the time that the fleet can stay at full firepower.

ed by your leadership, your scientists didn’t stop there. In response to the Scourge’s relentless attacks, your team has leveraged the War Pegasus frame to develop a battle bridge of masterful function and form. The new bridge, dubbed the “Perseus CIC”, augments and shelters the whole fleet.

Wield this technology wisely Captain, and may you find favor in your campaign!.
