I did the portal upgrades without baseparts, it just takes time. I think that kix keps th edaily camps the same as a freebie so everyone has access to a little bit of resources that can be easily collected.
Daily camps shouldn't change. I do agree, any build or upgrade should be able to use baseparts. Its stupid that you kinda get punished for advancing for enough in the game that you can't do things speedily.
If you don't want a sarcastic answer, don't ask stupid questions.

it would be nice if our rogue crews could be for current hulls our hull class not (sea wolf)
Whilst I agree that much of what you write is correct.
My main concern is would you want the team that thinks its acceptable to put a vxp target on the map, with exactly the same numbers as the FM targets, and looking exactly the same as other FM targets. You would have thought that anyone with just a smidgen of common sense would have seen that as being rather idiotic. Yes I know the look got changed, 24 hrs into the event, but ffs the fact that they were released like that shows the level of incompetence that we have to endure if we chose to play this game. So I ask again would you want the same fckwits messing around with the stuff you asked for?.
I just know that the crews would be even more fcked up than they are already, kix would take the opportunity to reduce the effectiveness of the GM crew and the others in some way, lets face it they don't have the best record of making adjustments that in any way benefit us.
What me cynical, no, never, maybe!!, well I have been playing kix games for over 3 years.
Remember its just a game, your life doesn't rely on you being the best.
Sectors visited :- Who cares, been to some killed some stuff moved on.
Hulls :- Yep got some and some have guns and stuff
I've always been a fan of additions. Why does the old stuff have to be removed for new stuff to be added.
Keep the old stuff and add in new stuff. Like the old SSB's we waited years for. I'm sure we all remember: "Coming Soon". Well those are gone now and there's been nothing to replace them. It's again back to: "Coming Soon".
There's no stepping stones, whenever they get a new idea and release it, they obliterate the old stuff.
I'd love to run amoke through an old SSB with the new tech, that'd be awesome and hilarious. There are many other things/targets that have also been removed throughout the years I'm just using the old SSB as a perfect example of something that could have been left in for players to enjoy.

Some of the old crews have actually become useful again (unintentionally due to laziness of course...)
You know those free breacher dreads you got? They make a good base defender fleet now if you use the formerly useless Junkyard Dogs crew with them.
Drones may do nothing now, but the Remote Raiders fleet will still add 30% to your fleet speed, making Legion Castra targets a lot easier to hit because you can dodge the death throwers much faster.
If you want your shorter range Interceptors such as Corsairs to get the jump on the longer range types like Strike Frigates, use Fearless Blitzers crew. That 20 seconds of double speed will get you inside their minimum range much sooner, making victory vs these types a certainty. It will also allow them less time to react, which is handy when you are running Bloodwings too.
If you know your base is going to get hit very soon (your bubble just dropped in Bounty) use Wolfpack as a defense crew with your Gorgons. Their missiles will do damage even at remote fire range now.
If you have a rocket or mortar ship with high spread and splash, adding Molotov Maidens will amplify that even further, letting you damage things nowhere near where you were firing at. Try this on some of the trickier Replica Bases during bounty and your Basilisks will be able to snipe turrets even further into the base.
Me: Here is how I clear the fleets out of the 500 with Silverfish Worz: Um... You're hiding behind a rock. Me: I'd hide behind a preschool if I thought it would help
I agree. Although most of us have figured out how to employ the crews to best of ability, they are far outdated and have drastic need of renewal. I use them daily still but not as originally intended in most cases.
Sincerely, King Focker His Royal Heiness to you peons.
camps for more titanium like uranium would help...and or target for titanium increase like parts...titanium is needed for everything or lower the amount needed or get rid of it...since kixeye has told us not to ask for lower build time even if it is what players want....a refit ship yard would help ..spend more time waiting for things then playing lately

You really don't want them messing with rogue crews or the daily's.
If it ain't broke....it would be.
