This is me asking Kixeye for tech/speculating future tech [I have no inside info]
My Examples:
T8.5 Armor
Zinthium Isotope Armor ZEV-1 (+10 speed +10 turn +15 evade): This would be an upgraded version of D5-EV (+7 speed +7 turn +10 evade)
Problem: currently speed is difficult to mess with without using old tech like D5-EV and Interception system (except in siege class)
Specific uses: Nemesis X and speedy ships that benefit from evade
T8 or T9 Special
Frontline Countermeasure System II : Depending on tier this would have standard countermeasure buffs as well as 1800 building defense or 2700 (T9)
Problem: Galea acts as a defense boosting countermeasure system It is only usable by three classes
Uses: Dragoon (also could find use on Assault ships if it beats Anti-missile proliferation system II)
Other Ideas
Assault:
Multi-Form Antimissile II with Anti-missile Proliferation system III or Prometheus Missile System II (I don't see this happening anytime soon)
Tier 8.5/9 Garrison:
A garrison ship that uses splash missiles (Anything but rockets)similar to what is used by Monoliths in the new Icebreaker Pillage Target
Problem: The past three Garrison ships Ice Breaker, Inferno Dragon, and Pretorian all use Rockets (Monolith used mortars) [give us something new]

Skirmish is the next Cycle, after all. I know the Galea can be used on Assault and Skirmish Ships, but it is oriented more for Garrison Ships. Assault might have better options for CMs, but there is no current Special for Cormorants, to boost them like other CMs.
I see that you are Directly using Anti-Torpedo as the class of cormorant even though it does countermeasure damage
There are three types of Anti-damage: Anti-mortar, Anti-missile, and countermeasure
Anyways, my critiques aside, good idea
