Greetings, Captains. The 9.17 update is deploying Tuesday, April 23rd at ~4:00 PM PDT. This update contains support for Bounty 20, some Base Building cost reductions, hull upgrades for the Inferno Dragon, and two campaign re-runs.



INFERNO DRAGON HULL UPGRADES

Upgrade Kits for the Inferno Dragon are available to claim in the Forsaken Mission! Increase your efficiency with this popular hull.


U1: 10 Upgrade Kits

  • Wall Damage increased from +350% to +700%

U2: 30 Upgrade Kits

  • Explosive Damage increased from +75% to +100%

  • Structure Deflection increased from 0 to 450

U3: 60 Upgrade Kits

  • Explosive Survival increased from 1,530 to 3,800

  • Penetrative Survival increased from 1,530 to 3,800



Flagship U1: 10 Flag Upgrade Kits

  • Wall Damage increased from +350% to +700%


Flagship U2: 40 Flag Upgrade Kits

  • Explosive Damage increased from +85% to +125%

  • Structure Deflection increased from 0 to 600


Flagship U3: 80 Flag Upgrade Kits

  • Explosive Survival increased from 1,530 to 3,800

  • Penetrative Survival increased from 1,530 to 3,800

  • Aura changed to Dragon Shell Aura

    • Aura Ship Deflection increased from 150 to 500

    • Aura Structure Deflection increased from 150 to 500



PLATFORM & WALLS COST REDUCTION

The cost of platform and walls are being reduced at certain levels! Platforms have decreased by ~80% in cost, and Walls have decreased at ~80% in cost at their top levels.

    Disclaimer about the gold costs outlined in the Cost Reductions section: those are an estimate, note that gold cost can vary based on the amount of resources you currently have, officers, etc. It's more likely that they will trend cheaper than they are listed, but it's possible for them to be more expensive if you don't have all the resources you need, for example.

    Additional Bug Fixes that will deploy in 9.17:

    • [UI] Certain stats were still being visually doubled in the stat block, including building/structure deflection, pass through, ramp damage, aura deflection bonuses. This has been corrected. Those stats may appear to drop but this is VISUAL ONLY.

    • [Ships] Survival stats of Makara’s Manticore U3 replaces old stats instead of stacking with them

    • [Ships] Hull-specific tokens not appearing as options for that hull

    • [Base] Specials not updating turret damage stat

    • [Base] Forsaken and Scourge faction bonus stats not appearing correctly in stat block

    • [Rogue Crew] Rogue Crew bonuses not adhering to their defined restrictions. Crews should no longer impact hulls for which their bonuses were not intended. This is the fix for the reported Rogue Crew exploit that emerged recently.

    We've released a hotfix for the stuck in battle and performance issue that was occurring post-deploy. Battles seem to be returning to normal.
