I dont think these are any good except for corpus tokens anyone differ?
unless they have speed tech to make them go faster, they don't seem useful. Tried it in an event base and got 32 mins of repair on it before it even reached it's target.
I built 12, on plat and use it on main 12 after clean the hunters, I was killing one hunter with missiles then cleaned with manticore they are level 4 and are good in groups and damage, but the speed is painful to watch.

i know kixeyes units are SUPER units so not sure if it translates to our manticores but on m2 it fires at the hunter and the hunter never shoots. not sure if thats a glitch or what.

Hunter and Rail don't shoot on given units, in any base.
The range on high altitude units is always welcome, it has its uses, helped me a lot during event especially M12, if anyone have noticed they can take anti-missile with no damage BUT, so slow even though they're drones.
Thanks. I can't see these Manticores being viable at anything less than OHerald speed. Even that is questionable since they aren't as tough as OHerald. If the Tech on Friday isn't significantly increased speed I'm scrapping these units after the last bonus token base drops for them.
Its not good, nor bad for me. I use it because of the High Altitude status and its 400 range. That is a pretty good asset to use in future battles. Downside is its speed.. its really, really painful to watch. When I coordinate them to move across the map, it nearly took like +1 min, at that time, I could make a sandwich and grab a drink lol. But yeah, its a decent unit.
Also, they are getting a speed tech, so hope for the best.

They need a speed increase tech option in every slot, Bronze, Silver and Gold.
In my opinion the Manticore would of been better if it was a Sentinel unit. Most of the Sentinel units are slow moving not like Corpus units. The Corpus Faction units rely on Speed, Stealth and Electrical based weaponary. It would of been better if the Manticore was as fast as the Fury and has energy base weapons like the Drakon or Cerebus.
they only will be usefell for helping herald and shepherd basically its to complete high altitude platoons
that you have to send in 15 mins early ? and in most cases the gas whats it going todo to techs .. will do well against towers and bunkers these thing just fodder bait

when you unlock air units in bases to use , heavy turrets never fire at those unlocked units. Same if you unlock ground units to use, the heavy turrets won't fire on them

thats a part of the base, probably to make new units seem better than they really are, been going on about as long as those types of missions have.

The Manticore gets destoyed before it can hit the target I aim at, just as everybody else has said. Kix, it is units like this that make this game boring......slowwww and boring.....YAWNnnnnnn
I think they are a good answer to Sentry swarm and other grouped infantry. It's a very situational unit. PVP will likely not see it as the main infantry there is the Escorts. Thorium bases might get a good whiff of the things Cosmic Space Farts but unless it gets a speed or range buff, I'll stick to Furies and Envoys. Corpus didn't exactly get a "kept our reputation" unit.
Any stats on that level 10 movement speed buff?

Undisputedly the slowest unit in the game.
Same opinion as Azhole not going to use it outside of bonus token base if it's still this painfully slow.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions.

tried 2 against a hunter turret.... didn't even make it to it's range so it could fire.
