Alliance War Active
My friends can't join my alliance due to 'Alliance war active' what does this mean? Is it due to the event or a war between alliances?

Leaving and joining alliances are blocked during Alliance War, as that would influence the leaderboard stats. It would be easy to exploit the system otherwise and cheat yourself to prizes you didn't earn. After the event store has closed, they can join.
