How to get blueprints

Any way to get blue prints WITHOUT having to attack a fortress??
I had tried attacking fortresses a few times BUT always lost!

Looking for any hull blueprints.
By "fortress" I mean any base held by an "enemy".

i kinda need some new blueprints also; but most of my subs are old and outdated; i don't have any new subs

The only hulls that are readily available are in the Forsaken Mission.

There are a few in the Bounty store as well, but those are more PvP hulls.

Some can be researched in the Foundry or gotten from some of the old school campaigns, but none of them are really worth mentioning in my opinion.

Some of the weapons, specials, and armor can be found in cargos and the older permanent campaigns.
