Changes to the FM in July, August and September

    "No changes to the FM for a year"   Yet it changes every 2-3 farking months...  Guess Harbin was just blowing more smoke up our collective bunghole

    You're quite a bit behind the times I see.  Many months ago when they went back to the 4 month raid cycles they removed the garrison style from the rotation and said it would stay strictly in the FM. As a result, they also said some sort of change would come to the FM every 4 months.
    BUT that was just after they said it wouldn't change for a year Jeff

    Doing the new 105 with 5 Inferno Dragons really bites the big one. This target will probably need all new armors and the flag to complete satisfactorily on damage. My charged armor pool vanishes instantaneously thanks to some stupid new mechanic they have introduced. All part of the "player first" mantra I presume?

    ive just tried a 120 target. i only have 2 of the new armour on each ship, 1st time in the target and got 2 hour damage so i dont think thats too bad for an unfinished build. i think that 2 hour will be down a lot soon. the new targets dont seem too bad tbh

After that I just auto 117s with my IDs that were almost completely built with tokens. have not been any rush to tweak them, because they keep changing the targets. Near enough is good enough so i'll still be saving tokens up to use once I know what works. My Greta is currently building armorless to be out for VXP.

    Build days. But be ready, this is a bit of rocket science here:

    30 or 31 days per month for your shipyard. last i checked that's how many days are in a month. except february. feel free to argue that one ...
    30 or 31 days for your conq yard
    18 days of tokens from 3 fms per month (or 24 once per quarter)

    okay you're right 150 build days in a month was wrong. it was way under what we can actually get.

    ps. lol at medals. how far further do they get you in the game?
    All those tokens are great, especially if you got somewhere
     near 800 mil to get them?
    dont be a greedy pig. you dont need them all.

    also quit the drama queen exaggeration - how did you add up 800 million, even if you wanted every single token on the list?
    I got 470 mil, didn't even come close, so I guessed...how did you work it out?

    This is A LOT of refitting for ONLY 3 months of use.  Player friendly my ****. Not only is the refitting decision maddening but I just did the FM and my IB's, which I can usually auto 61's for about a minute and a half of damage, just stopped after destroying the last structure. If I didn't go back in to check on it, it would have died. Was this an intentional "fix" to make us have to coin more or was this a mistake. I'm sure I know the answer. You guys are money grubbers after all.

    no actually was more to the point of price of tokens in raid

    4 mil a pop ..how many ID ones? 9 of them alone would be 36 mil 

    If there were 150 tokens in raid that comes to around 600 mil alone (lets not quibble over a few cheap ones)

    But lets not forget most tokens were locked in a store, minimum requirement to get there if you had everything was 40 mil

    the only raid tokens required from my list that i provided to make it really simple were that last 3 items: makara, manti and ID required to hit 150 useful tokens for the month.

    what you are advocating is vastly more than 150 ship build days in a month. 

    i was trying to be less greedy in only showing 150, but yes you're right, you could get a lot more if you chose to do so.

    With all the refits you are encouraging, nay compelling, us to make, could you not fulfill the description of the Legendary Treasure chests? They claim to contain 3-9 days of build tokens but I recall only 2/3 times getting more than the minimum (4 days instead of 3) - this is definitely not a random distribution. Going random and opening the probabilities to cover the full range would be a help. We only get one shot at this chest each FM so the cost is not high but it would help morale to see some help trying to stay reasonably current with builds and especially with near certain Refits.

    I was looking at the suggested changes with armor and the defense special. The increase of repair time by armor if I'm understanding things correct will increase repair time by about 17% at the same amount of damage. If the 3 charged X armors and 2 charged M armors is roughly the % of damage taken from each damage type I believe changing it to the new armor D5-XM and special if you were using Armor Alloy MX-3 at rank 15 ignoring the 22.5 minutes repair time added from each armor you would have roughly a 20% reduction in damage. If my math is even close to correct the change figuring in the typical +/- 3% error I think they expect a net zero change in damage. Basically, eliminating the charge element and handing us a 7+ day refit per infernal dragon.

    Why you gotta remove the 112? It's the perfect intermediate target. How about you keep it past September, but lock out ID like you did with the 111?

    perfection is obviously flawed in the eyes of some then.

    FM should not be a chore with top fleet and should NOT have enforced damage when driving perfectly

    just tried one with Ice breakers / charged armour ..seemed ok but i take less damage on the 111 for more points

    I appreciate you sharing the optimum build for the new targets, but why do that?   Isn't the build, the testing, the refits, the skill improvements - all part of the fun of this game?  It was for me anyway.  I used to enjoy hitting the FM with WHATEVER.  Trying new builds, watching battles to see what others are doing.  Take some time, thought, skill, and adjust and evolve. Think outside the box, take chances, be bold and BEAT THE GAME. FUN. Now it's "Here's the right fleet spelled out for you.  Build it and win, or don't and lose.  And do it quickly, brand new tech is only useful while its new."  I've got the recommended fleets built and built right and I'm beating the targets and yet it's NOT FUN.  The best part of RTS games for me is the RTS.  Hitting bases, hitting ships, going to war with other sectors. Player-generated content keeps it fresh.  That's been replaced with an endless race to stay current, where the only new content comes from the game itself, in the form of far too much new (and often unnecessary) tech.  Eventually you realize there is no end, no rest, no satisfaction of a job well done and enjoying the fruit of your labor.  Just continued chasing of the carrot. The game must become an addiction to you in order to keep playing.  Just my two cents.
    We are forced to play and build as they direct us, their way. I remember we use to be able to play our way and build our way.......Has not been that way for some time now and that is why many are quitting. It has been leading away from RTS and become more work and spending than fun.

    Here is why this player since black water days is heading to better RTS games. 10 hour repair on the so called "required" dragons we need and these have nothing on them except a few weapons and counters nothing else..... 10 hours that is ridiculous.....I can only imagine repair times for those that have full built ones.

    err in blackwater days repairing the dock alone was 4 hours. and did not autostart.

    fleets were well over a full day for a repair a few years ago too.

    STILL no word on how kix is screwing ppl out of points in the 61 blitzing. 3 days waiting on a ticket and supposed "passed up" response from a mod..

    It's so kind of kixeye to give us a heads up to build the greta's inferno and give us a chance at it.  Oh wait, it was 40 mil pts... and those of us without a greta's can't earn 40 mil pts in the raid without A LOT of help or paying greatly through the nose, which I stopped doing a long time ago because I can't afford to play this game.  A shame really because I have 1/2 an inferno flt built.  Too bad it's worthless without the flag.  lol, what a joke.

    Once again, I get the message... if I can't afford to spend $50-100 / month, stop playing.  Well, I'm going to continue playing while spending nothing so I can be a drag on your system.  How about them apples?  lol
    So, what's fun about this thread is the admission of hacking on an alternate account, but unfortunately you neglected to realize that this forum account has the same registered email address as your primary Facebook & Battle Pirates account.

    What the Flipping Snoot Napples?  Using the BP HQ app I have been hitting the 117s and just dealing with the damage taken and repairing as I go about doing my things.  Now twice on my hits doing the SAME THING as I have always done...my fleet as come back dead before a full target kill!  Way to go Kixeye! I played as much as I could in this past raid and only got 18 or so million....so no Greta Inferno Dragon.  I have 4 skulled and built to TFC specs that have been doing well for me.   Just UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
