@Pascal Wolf said: @CM_Burny can we please have some more details about the sharpshooter and the spotter , whats his range , what is the additional range incuding the spotter , does the spotter dont give isseus when you wanna putt the sharpshooter in your bunkers does is need extra space capacity ?
Reason why i ask the max range what we have now on our units is about 550 max 575 including tech range .
So i presume a sharpshooter should beat that range ???
Totally agree with you need more info on the unit,
Personally I like the CT hero and its potential (kind of seems like using hround and air at the same time may be very good now, we shall see) as far as the sharpshooter have to see the stats etc so cant say it looks good or bad... Personally would love to see a tech like a 50 cal round to it to increase damage against ground as an option also
@CM_Burny here's another difference between the event post and the game: The post says that Kevlar Seatbelts tech Grants up to 30% resistance to Ground attacks, but the workshop description says it only reduces Sustain damage and only affects the lead plane! Which is the correct one, and does sustain damage also include air targets like Hornets and airborne Avalanches?
Do the buffs of a spotter double if 2 are nearby since they affect the range of all nearby sharpshooters or would just 1 be applied allowing other sharpshooters to be cloaked?
even with just 1 sharpshooter affecting has a ton of perks by lvl 10 alone then has an epic lvl 20 talent aswell, interested to see if the tech for these guys isas good as their out of the box goodies

The Caretaker is meant to be used in good number, so the damage can be divided to each single one to increase "shielding" strength (and more importantly, decrease repair time). So the Caretaker an unit that does not actually need a Hero version. If instead of 3 Caretaker in battle, now it is 2 Caretaker and 1 Hero Caretaker, then the total shield strength is increased to 5/3 without more space needed, however if the repair time also increase by that amount, then I will rather throw in 3 Caretaker as usual, not to waste the only Hero slot in battle.
The Omega Siege Squadron Base returns for the final time! Earn between 2-7x Omega Siege Squadron Parts. If you reach the maximum amount of Omega Parts, you will receive 5m Thorium instead.
The Omega Siege Squadron Base is now Blitzable!

The hero should have the same repair time as the normal unit. It could be aused with more Caretakers or without to free platoon space. It can't be used with other heroes, so the extra space would probably best be used by uniques.
The new unit looks promising. Hopefully it will get the right tech. Tech similar to Fused Rounds, Reflex Training and Reflex Scope will make it an excellent partner for a Drakon in your towers.

I mean, I usually deploy my unit with some Caretaker, and tactically deploying Hero for hit-and-run. Now if the Hero Caretaker have no benefit other than x3 Health, I may not use it since deploying Hero Caretaker prevent me from deploying other Hero as I usually do.

It also shields air units with your Sphinx though since sentinels already have the best tank hero in the game it would have been hard to make a better one out of a caretaker without going into op territory.

That sniper looks interesting as does the caretaker hero. But im slightly dissapointed with the rest of the prizes. Either i have enough of them or dont see their use. But i hope next months event will have the 3 new heroes
I agree on a commend somwhere up there i hink you might consider to lower the token price for a Infantery unit back to 250k , i totaly understand that iff you have a plane ore a tank that it is 400k but for a food soldier yeah its kinda high , even it might be powerfull but still i bet you people not gonna build 100 sharpshooters , we learn from your tactics So please lower that token price so the lower lvl players might also enjoy the sharpshooter on a bit higher lvl

wow..new unit with long range...hope its usefull
If I remember correctly lvl 20 gives it 575 natural range before the benefit of spotters, should be pretty useful if there arnt techs or phals on aggressive.
Just a ground tank away from survivers having the full range of combat roles in infantry.
"the optimist looks up and loses his footing. the pessimist looks down and loses the path the strategist looks forward and adjusts accordingly"
Thought the event was always 7 days, but according to the timer, it's 6 days
Most of the WC event has been 6 days and it has been like that since 2012. On the other hand, few events has been extended by 1 day like Operation Shockwave (December 2012) and Operation Sins of out Fathers (April 2018) due to in game issues during the event.
difficulty is ridiculous, flying ants that shoot land and air? lost half my air in a 25 base. wrong thinker thinking wrong as usual. No average Joe is going to get anything good from this event. Kix must have tons of coiners or the hacks still run wild.

I apologize for that experience you described. Out of curiosity, which units were you using in that base and what was your strategy?

use a herald, their ability to fire upon ground leaves them vulnerable to a herald attack and its only the light AA guns in that base so its not much damage.
