    THOSE PPL WHO COMPLAIN ABOUT THIS CHANGE THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND WHEN 1PLAYER WITH 69 STYLE VS 1 SECTOR
    THIS IS NOT FAIR. AND YES THIS EXPLOIT.
    1PLAYER WITH 2PC + AUTOCLICK CAN LOCK PLATOON FOR 2-3 HRS  AND HE CAN BUBLE 20-30 BASE IN SECTOR WHILE HIS BASE PROTECTED BY 69 RING OF FIRE.
    BETTER CLOSE COMMENT FOR THIS POST COZ I SEE ALL 69 LOVER CRYING HERE AND TREATENING TO QUIT GAME. AND APPLY THIS CHANGE FOR NEXT GAME UPDATE
    ONLY 1% OR 2 % 69 LOVER COMPLAINING. COZ THEY KNOW THEY WILL LOST THEIR **** SOON WHEN GAME UPDATED

    how about a 5 sec cool down on a platoon before it can be attacked again
    For Example : I Attack your toon,  already do damage 90% to your toon coz you not reatreating and fighting , and my platoon damaged 90% also. time up. and i want to attack your platoon again. but you already run before i can attack you again coz of 5 sec cooldown

    It's A half fix , good work , and i am sure it can be tweeked ..in the future soon as we see how this works .beats a blank.

    **ATTENTION KIXEYE**

    Your solution to ring of fire sounds like it's going to conflict with players trying to defend their own bases with all their own platoons.  Many of us use cloaked units, playing hide and seek to buy time for allies to come help snipe or to keep attacker's bases exposed longer while he or she is trying to crack your map defenses.  It is also a legitimate deterrent as some attackers will give up if the process of trying to find your cloaked unit takes too long, especially if they're working within a limited amount of time.   Limiting the amount of hits to a platoon will completely defeat the cloaked unit strategy and it's a legitimate strategy, not an exploit.

    this is not even 69ing loool this is toon fighting which has been around since the start of the world map

    69 --> like the 69 position is the use of an alt to 1 star your base , while you attack another players base at the same time.

    i find it hard not to be a forum troll when you are so out of toych with the problems, that you dont even know what they are. some players have not been out of bubble in a year, they attack players whilst never being able to be attacked. 

    i dont know where you get your info about pvp , and high level wars, tactics , game/map stratergy but you need to find a new source. as you are making a solution to toon fighting not 69 hitting.

    i have a solution, if i send you a video of someone hitting a players base while they are taking a bubble from there alt ban them. end of

    This is the dumbest f-ing idea ever. You do this and people will stop making locks around their bases and they will just bubble them instead while they are hitting. At least with the locks there is a chance to break them if you have fast internet.

    most will just retreat a toon or if your hitting a offline players toon 5 sec won't kill ya but 5 sec would kill the 69

    Hell i would hit a lv 5 if kixeye let me !

    how we can make sure its their alt accnt ? maybe got attacked by his enemies. but yes kixeye can check their IP. but if ask buble from his friend not by alt accnt, what we can do ?
    i think for now the best solution is, first to stop 69 ring of fire. then later we can find solution for 69 self buble or friendly buble.

    lol how do you defend a base anymore when a level 30 has all the same stuff a level 48 has? no balance in the game right now imho

    How will this be good for PVP? 
    do you think any one will let his base defence smashed several times or is he going to wait 7 hours till his defence is repaired, as we can protect less our base, cause it is more often open.... so then the solution is empty base but with  the common units is a bubble then easy.
    so why should this be a good solution as it also messes up toon fights on the map and makes more people sitting out there 36 hours bubble.

    This is a nice thought. I like one guy's solution better about making attacks on bases like in Warpath. Limit Attacks on same base every 4 hrs or maybe even 8 hrs. Sure some would just make more Alt accounts to bypass this. But it would stop repeated exploit of 69/selfie bubbles and it would stop Infamy whores from banking infamy too.

    i agree with this completely ,there are legitimate fast players that dont use scripts and trying to break rings at least is better than seeing your enemy in bubble as soon as he finishes attacking you

    i personly cant see the making pvp batter for the sole reson your removing a team efert to defand ech other away by thise you shud be rethinking this   for if defnding ech other now conceders a explot of game than any trying to defnd there base or there freinds alis will be exploting the game under your so cald expltion of it  on the other hand thos that truly are exploting it are thos using auto clikers

    Ring of Fire was never the problem the problem was how players attack each other to selfie one another this "moral" system WILL BREAK PVP if you think about it now a lvl 3 account can run around attack end attack end get the toon to drive home then let a high lvl come on in without ever needing to kill a single toon what about heavy defence toons people stick around them selfs all be useless now with this stupid "moral" system coz people will never have to kill a plat again or what about if you are attacking a player and they grab your platoon outside there base but cant kill it all they have to do is end and attack few times then POOF your toon flys back home.......PLEASE kixeye THINK more about this system if anything the Ring of fire is easy to deal with id suggest just leaving this alone and focus on more important problems like how the Darkstorm has completely lop sided PVP towards the attacker now...........

    even searching ip wont help cos the clever people will play thru a proxy thus giving false ip info

    and 69 is bigger problem than ring of fire ,least with ring we have chance to break it with 69 all we do is sit and watch

    HAHAHA, guys actually have to defend base or be  open to flat .... love it ..  Like the direction and the fact Kix is recognizing some PVP headaches

     BUT need to address the "69ers"  having a friendly hit and hold your base .   Will this morale thing apply to PVP toon battles only or also attacking PVP  bases? 
      Hopefully both, it  will  help with those who just hold a base, theyll be forced to give 1 star atleast after 2nd attack. End it all together by using  rule that can only attack same player once every hour or 4 hours or something in that range .
     
     
       and /or   ......REVENGE button or special OP. Could be similar to drop ships OP, gives you uninhibited access to enemy base and 1 chance at revenge  using same number of toons they used on you . revenge would have a expiration .. long enough to be able to catch enemy open but not so long that you stockpile revenge hits and kill all the last day of pvp season lol . make 100k medals in gear shop for revenge op . This would take most the frustration out of these pvp issues with players hiding behind ring of fire and friendly bubbles

    and/or  make it so you can only use 4 hexes at another player base, who needs 5 toons anyways to kill a base ? this leaves atleast  1hex  for bases owner and 1 for anyone else, so you cant have 1 player monoplolize every hex while they 69ing  and have atleast 1 open  hex you can use to try to get in . 

    "ring of fire"  the other issue - locking toons in pvp battle around a base so no one can get in , the single layer ring of fire no usually a big deal unless they running script or have auto click to re lock toons every 7 min.
         The problem ones are multi layered 40 + toons surrounding a base   ring of fires , dozens of low lvl alts all locked onto each other , locked onto friendlies, rougue bases, depos anything around a base to prevent getting in, I think the proposal will help the most  with that.  
    couple things to consider,
    - cloaked units, sometimes you cant find them if defender is in the pvp toon fight which a lot of times results in letting go of it and having to re-engage it several times or give up and hit differant toon  . Having to have your toon sent home bacause you cant find a cloaked detonator or dont want to waste 14 min hunting it would be no fun. 
    - the travel time can be 7- 8 min sometimes even with hookers Op. a speed up of map travel time would help with some of these legit pvp battles that still result in toon being sent home for reason other then it actually being destroyed.

    game will be solely hit and take bubble while u do it now ,will be no open bases on map and many will lose interest in trying to play .you will need to make more sales packs now to make up for the lost pvp revenue which will most likely be the result of this

    i cant defend my base vs many players
    if 69 consider an exploit and i will take a bann cause of that '69, i prefer to leave this game
    what community do you direct with only 4 posts? 
    why does your post give such little consideration for attacking a group with a group?
    why do you seem to have no knowledge of this prior while being part of kixeye?

    Hello,

    There have been a growing number of complaints recently regarding “69ing” in PVP. I’d like to break down exactly what KIXEYE’s stance is on the exploit (because it is an exploit), and what we’ll be doing to combat its use. In the short term, we’ll be releasing a change to the game as soon as possible to stop it from happening. In the long term, we’ll be looking to make changes to how PVP works so that working with your alliance mates to protect a base is a legitimate strategy that has fun and engaging counterplay. Below, I’m going to detail our approach to the problem and our proposed solution.

    Do you think it will address the issue? Could it be exploited in a way we haven’t considered? Either way, we want to know.

    The Problem

    Currently, in War Commander, when one platoon initiates combat against another platoon, all platoons involved become untargetable for the duration of the battle. Theoretically, this means that platoons can lock down in-game hexes in an invincible state for up to 7 minutes (plus load times). If neither platoon is destroyed, both platoons remain on the world map, and a new battle can immediately be restarted. Player’s have been abusing this mechanic to create an invincible ring around their base (or others’) that is impossible to penetrate. Through the use of scripting, this invincible ring can be maintained indefinitely with no effort on the part of the perpetrator.

    While we like the fact that players are co-operating with their teammates and using creative solutions in the PVP space, we do not like that this strategy has no counter play. Every move should expose a player to a counter-move, and with “69ing” that is not the case. This needs to change.

    The Solution

    The main issue with “69ing” is the repeatability. It’s the fact that a player can infinitely restart battles at no cost to themselves. To combat this, we are proposing the following:

    • All platoons have a property called Morale;

    • Losing a PVP battle results in your platoon having Low Morale;

    • If a platoon with Low Morale loses a PVP battle, they are instantly sent back to base (just like if you’d retreated);

    • Sending a platoon to your base resets its Morale to full; and

    • Low Morale platoons will have an icon above them that indicates their state.

    Given that all battles in War Commander must have a loser, placing platoons on the world map and continuously engaging in false battles will result in those platoons getting sent back to your base. If you want to set up your defensive ring again, you’ll need to re-deploy them, leaving you vulnerable.

    Secondly: from this point forward, we consider “69ing” an exploit.

    Our hope is that these two changes will significantly curtail the exploits use, and allow interesting play and counterplay on the world map.  The goal is to stop, or significantly reduce, “69ing” and make a positive change as soon as possible and then, in the long term continue to improve how PVP works in general, and on the world map in particular.

    Unfortunate that this is going to be implemented in game play, The work around for this fix is simple( but I'll keep that to myself for now) Point being is that no matter what you fix there is always a work around and due to the need to control infamy, Protecting will always be a issue. So that being said why fix this or even change it. I mean any 69 lock on a base can be broke I have yet to see one that can hold for to long the only issue to breaking the hold is the LAG, Load time and DCs this is the issue that allows a advantage to whom ever has the least of these issue but since it is War Commander we all suffer from them and we have for several years so no new news here.

    I disagree this idea. it is a war strategy and it is not a cheat or anything. anyone who complaints this strategy is a dumb player and let him/her be. Leave this game as the way it is.

    It is an absolute exploit, especially when supplemented with an auto-clicking script that allows them to attack without being hit back for hours. Then when they finish hitting or their ring of fire is cracked, they selfie.  NOT FAIR.  If you can hit then you can defend too.  Stop hiding and fight!
