Yeah, I'd say its definitely worth a look. Can't gaurantee it'll be a one-stop solution for your machine, but it could make a difference, especially if you pick a high quaility brand. Thermal Paste's used by default are designed for longevitity rather than actually being good at heat conducting, so replacing the crap typically included by manufacturers with good stuff can make a difference, and potentially quite a substantial one.
I actually did do some digging out of my own curiosity and found tear down videos of what I believe are your laptop model, as well as a forum thread elsewhere on the internet enquiring about this topic, so clearly Im not the first to raise this possibility. I believe an official Lenovo rep actually responded to a topic on this suggesting users read their device manual and do research on the topic, so its theoritically possible at least. And the laptop does seem to be quite easily cracked open. So that's good news for you.

Nope. As I stated in my last comment its going dreadfully. I just wanted to see a familiar name attached to this account. Currently CM_Burny's stance on the matter is "No Thane. You violated the rules, you're never gonna see you're account again." Hardly the first time I heard that lol, and I have no intention of giving up the fight just cause one guy says "never again." I intend to keep this up.
Also, the conversation has shifted somewhat from my wanting my account back to KIXEYE's practice of hiding information from players, which Im currently questioning him about. No word from Burny since 3 days ago though. I've been questioning Skipjack, a WC Forums Moderator about as well, but she went dark just under a week ago. Not heard from her since then unfortunately.
Also enquiring about my past forum record, as well as KIXEYE's blatant hypocrisy concerning bad language. He, I sh*t you not, had the audicity to claim KIXEYE are trying to be mindful of the children playing the game and all that, and want to keep things clean for them. But when I questioned him about the game being riddled with bad language (see here examples kindly provided by MX36) he promptly switched tracks and said "Its a post apocalypse, we want to design stuff to fit the games theme."
Needless to say, its been an interesting conversation so far with Burny. Shall be as equally interesting to see where it goes. I'll keep you guys posted.

Oh yeah, I remember that. It was Backyard Monsters 2 year anniversary video. Its definitely strange, and honestly, I fail to see why it would be a concern. I mean, for one, we've seen KIXEYE's own top folks swear and feature all kinds of potentailly vulgar content in videos. Their infamous viral recruitment video featured a black dildo on Harbin's desk didn't it?
So their concern for bad language and children is nothing short of absurd. They clearly don't care. Especially since, whilst yes, I did use bad language, I merely used it as a means of emphasis. So a full blown perma-ban is absurd. Especially since, as MX showcased above in the Imgur gallery he provided me a link too which I linked above, the game itself is riddled with vulgartity. Heck, one of their event videos for a Halloween event in War Commander featured this line.

And I spent 9 months working to get that account back, starting this appeal with CM Sulaco, CM_Burny's predecessor as War Commander Community Manager, and I continued it with him. Him adding a stupid little note to my account stating "Do not unban" sure as ****_ won't stop me in the slightest.

Interesting, the word dildo isn't censored. Very weird that, since words like crap_ are censored, and whilst dildo isn't necessarily a bad word, considering it pertains to sex_ (a word which is also censored) you'd think that word would be censored as well, wouldn't you?
