    IMHO, I think, Base hitting is dead, unless you are clubbing baby seals.  Unfortunately for it to start popping again, Kixeye is going to have to release a hull that makes almost everything look obsolete and useless.  Not knocking there plan (which, i do not like) but it just adds to the frustration that in order for a hull to be effective to counter a half **** base they need to release a hull that will be insanely OPed...for a week or two.  They seem unable/unwilling to take baby steps so each counter is a massive escalation. Hell my Hope deals out over 5 mil in damage and with the Omni almost done, it will be dealing out closer to 6 mil in damage. That kills any KW, and placed behind or close to a portal, it kills any Glut fleet.

    5 mill will kill a KW but it will take forever.  Be like poking a fat man to death with a needle a couple a million times.  I can lay all the math out here for you if you like but it takes about 12 full salvo's  anyone dumb enough to park there KW in front of your hope that long needs to die a long slow painful death..

    I guess you never seen a Hope waste a Writ in about 3 seconds flat... I have... Mine. :)

    evidently your math is off.  because it takes about the length of time to spit rum out of my nose watching the KW move into the HOPE's range.....I'm using that measurement because it is accurate and it sums up the exact length of time for a KW to vaporize.  So please...lay out the math.

    I dont really think new hull will change too much with base hitting, its really not that hard to stop it...
