    "Fun" is subjective. What's fun for you may be dull for another. When you apply your subjective notion of "fun" onto another as an objective fact, you've set the standard that the only opinion that matters is your own and those kinds of people aren't much fun to be around.

    I don't think its necessarily due to mods retaining a sense of humour. I think its just cause they knew they didn't have a good enough reason to lock it or hide it in the vault where it would never be seen again.

    Glad to see this thread is still alive.

    The purpose is just a bit of humor.  I've been on a bit of a negative spiral lately and wanted to add something that might be fun.

    Yes, but as soon as a thread becomes On_Topic and gets returned to the main forums, by default it becomes Off_Topic again and returns to the O_T forums. And thus an eternal cycle of phasing between a state of On and Off topic ensues until the post is finally swallowed by the Void itself and ceases all existence. That's the circle of life for posts O_T.
