Where does your Loyalty lie?
Faction Traits
Aligning with a Faction allows you to show your loyalty to that faction. In
return, you gain unique bonuses to aid your troops in battle.
Faction Traits are bonus effects that benefit all your Units in any combat
so long as all of those Units match the Faction you’ve aligned to. So, for
example, if you are aligned with the Sentinels, and you deploy only
Sentinels Units, all of your Units will receive the Sentinel Traits. Deploy
some Survivor Units along with your Sentinel Units and none of your Units
will get the benefits.
So, if you remain loyal to your Faction by deploying only their Units,
you’ll get some awesome and interesting bonuses.
Access the Faction Alignment screen from the Command Center menu to view
each Faction’s Trait information.
How do these bonuses work?
-
Faction Trait Bonuses will only be applied ONLY when Faction Units
are being used, for the Faction you are currently Aligned with.
-
Any non-faction Units deployed into OFFENSIVE BATTLES will not
trigger the Faction Trait Bonuses.
-
Any non-faction Units deployed into DEFENSIVE BASES will not
trigger the Faction Trait Bonuses.
-
Does not include Drones or Last Stand Defenders

The Faction Trait UI will be displayed next to your player portrait
when in Combat. There are 2 visuals displayed indicating the status
of the Faction Trait: Inactive & Active.
-
Faction Traits Inactive - The UI will display a transparent
silhouette of your Faction Leader.
-
Your Faction Trait will be Inactive if you do not have Aligned
Faction Units deployed into Combat or if you have non-faction
Units deployed alongside with your Aligned Faction Units.

Faction Traits Active - The UI will display a full image of your
