    @CM Chris when will the Arms and Tech Lab get new tech added for using Reusable Items, I like to use my labs to construct my tech then collecting dust and never be use again.

    I'm calling bullshit on this one.  When the Punisher cruiser was released we were told this was a support ship that "lives from armor".  Items such as XF DCs, Armored Hold and Armored Thrusters ARE armor, its just that they're not in the armor slot.

    Its very convenient that the VC devs just happened to "discover" this "bug"  6mo after the ship was released and right before a new faction is released.  It's especially hypocritical considering that:

    •  The armor mass reduction bonus for regular disintegrator cannons WAS taken away but NOT the xeno DC weapon
    •  Somehow the Armored Hold special is an exception??  What about Xeno Armored Hold?  What about Xeno ARMORED Thrusters?

    Newsflash Kixeye:  armor IS health.  Health IS armor.  There is nothing more rage inducing to me than a game dev that refuses to be consistent in abiding by its own arbitrarily created rules in a transparent attempt to extract more money out of its playerbase.

    I've spend 6 mo hunting down cores and patterns and parts and tech to fit a Punisher cruiser that was "geared correctly" for the alien threat, and now here comes Kixeye stomping on my laboriously constructed sandcastle: "Oh were you working on that?  My bad!  Looks like you'll have to start over!"

    Niw what they will do zpardis is follow the xeno formula. We underweight our puns so they fit into a fleet. Then axis comes out and kix increases fleet bay size in about a month. Course our refit tokens r already used by then. So people refit. Then kix messes with gating several times so we have to refit more times.

    Congrats, this update proved that Kixeye doesn't care about the balance of their game and only fixes BUGS whenever they feel. Yet still many more game breaking bugs still exist that get graveyarded when brought up with support. Not only this, but the introduction of AXIS tech is yet another factions that outstrips the previous faction while also introducing more ridiculous NPC fleets. 
    Guess Kix will never learn, hell it's nothing more than just battlepirates in space at this point.

    Chris bring your **** here please and explain why you focked us royally on this update. I'm a 67 and a guy that's lvl64 hit my base with an 80 and I can't hit him because he's a Focking lvl 64 I'm pissed. You got to be kidding me. You should have made the gating rule 60 for free for all.

    This is frustrating. Haven't kept up with the news, but I just realized my puns are invalid now for the reason I built them. Can't even "free refit" them back into usefulness for the way I play. Please pick a system and go with it! You let us coin these big fleets and then take away what makes them great?! Seems like this happens about two or three a year. And then a 2 day refit period?! Haha! My ships take nearly a month each to build without coins. How about you refund all coins spent on items you "rebalance?" I guess I'm the moron for spending money on this.

    Despite I do not agree on the language and the tone, I do concur on the content. 
    Kixeye told us that the XP balance, and new gating were made to better reflect players capabilities, ergo fleet levels should be similar of the base level. Now there are a lot of players with full MK6 fleets that have a base level 64, and rest assured that they are already contemplating of scrapping whatever they do not need in order to keep the base at that level as long as possible
    Those unlucky ones that are level 65 or 66 because they started to fit the bugged talonite plates will have to deal with fleets that can flatten their bases and being unable to properly hit back unless they built a complete new fleet dedicated for bases level 62-64 with full storm defenses.
    Kixeye has started messing around with the base a few months ago and seems that until today they do not have any idea on how to fix the mess that they have created. A gating at level 60 makes sense, but would be a short term solution, since bases are now again not reflecting the strength of a player.

    Paladin question : are this carrier can be equiped with normal swarm ? (ranger , charger , gladiator) as i see now it still districted for ironstar , demoncorp.

    other item was update (eg: talonite armour)

    paladin only fit hunter / yellowjacket.

    Indeed. My reaper fleet only has one annihilator with xeno weapons, the other annihilator has heavy weapons instead, both punishers are max mass after the fix, the supressor is max mass due to xeno seekers. This leaves about 13k for the carrier. You can fit a paladin with tier 2 drones in that if you skimp on armor and have no elite squadrons special. If you go total glass on armor you can perhaps fit two tier 3 drones but thats it. Full tier 3 drone paladin is pretty much its full 18k mass. This is all calculated with a MK5 Paladin.

    Now imagine people who have fully upgraded fleets with xeno weapons? Or didnt coin the Paladin coin offer? They are screwed.

    @CM Chris - Are there any plans for further FB upgrades? I'm sure the Axis hulls are going to get more massive than the Xeno hulls looking at the trend.

    It was about Storm Driver Turret, the ONLY good(But not so powerful enough) Base defense weapon, so far.

    KIXEYE, You (or is a "it" is) are doing a truth **** about bases and this **** keeps rolling. Bases do need some attention. Instead you are screwing it up, ALWAYS!     




    I just saw that Base Armor "Talonite Plates(TP3)" got **** up too. 

    Before: For example, "TP3" had 36% less repair time, 3% more health.
    After.....................................: 3% more repair time, 3% more health.

    TP3 was not meant to have some kind of benefit like CP3 have(it was built to absorb damage)?

    Where in the release notes was it listed that talonite armor would be changed from xeno only to axis only?

    Actually, I didn't do anything that isn't allowed in there. If you think I did, don't fix it. educate me. I would much prefer to avoid being wrong a second time than to just have it fixed the first time.


    This is English forums is correct, just not widely used, because of how weird it sounds.
