Many players have express their discontent by the fact of oil repairs going up about double of what it used to cost. Many have voiced their discontent and yet KIXEYE has refused to even offer a good reason for that other than "resources are scarce" Please KIXEYE, learn from the fail of other games such as Game of Wars and Mobile Strike. They are doing the impossible to retain their players, specially the spenders. I stopped playing Game Of War frustrated by their greed and tired of being treated like a ATM. Started playing this game and enjoy how fun IT WAS. Now, I can only play 10 mins a day if I am lucky. There are many things that need to be fixed in this game but the main one should always be to keep your spenders happy. Lower the cost of oil, give more gold per dollar and stop messing up with your players in battle matching.

Here's the catch - 22.   There are gamers out there that form some sort of bond with these games. The alliance fortifies this with a sense of loyalty and need to do right by your team mates. Some gamers can not bring themselves to walk away . They put the time in and they just can't let it go.. (I'm not one of them I have walked away form CoC, Boom Beach, War Robots and more because of developer greed and just becoming bored with the same **** game over and over again)

These are the "Addicts" these are the players that these developers are trying to bait and keep, they $pend money without question, and developers take training in these gambling triggers and exploit these players for their own bottom line .  Most of us do not fall prey, but those who can't help but scratch the itch justify their spending by saying things like.. " I can only afford $20 a week"

This is the fact, these games are being tailored to keep the addicted spender spending because they lack the ability to walk away... So when us grinders complain they really don't care because we don't spend as much as those players.....

Now there is an argument for gamer loyalty and allowing grinders to grind, but now you have a larger gamer load and require many more servers and over head.. OR you can just cater to the spending crowd keep lower overhead and still pay the bills...  If your the business owner how would you proceed.. Easy to say you do this or that but when its your livelihood on the line your perspective changes considerably.

I am a business owner and as one I know the ways to keep people happy and call for more. You see, the difference is not if one spends $20 a day but if 100 spend $1 a day. They cant just gravitate to the ones who are the minority because their business model would just collapse rapidly. I am willing to spend $20 a week to have fun and a lot more are in the same boat. I am not saying, give it for free. I have walked away from other games too because the developers just stop caring and just want to see their pockets filled. I am here because I cared and because I have spent money in the game. If I didn't have any interest involved, I would have been gone by now. As a business owner I don't bargain if there is nothing to win. That is just the law of business.

I usually purchase a $100 pack every 3 to 4 months and grind like a **** for the rest.

But as it stands right now it would be hard for me to make another purchase. Way to much P2P for equipment. I can grind out the critical cards but can't earn equipment worth crap. Then there is my issues with outposts not being worth the effort / oil used, and of course the oil in general is ridiculously low

I understand your thinking in regards to the business model, more small purchase but its quite obvious that these freemium games are catering to a crowd of bigger spenders because there is enough whales and addicted spenders that brings in more than the nickel and dimers do in the long run.

Kind of like politics. The biggest money donators get the most influence... and the USA is a mess because of that reality

Hard to know what they are thinking. I would surely try to keep both ends happy, spenders and potential spenders. You never know if by trying to keep one the big spenders you are loosing 5 equally aggressive spenders. That, I think, is the bigger mistake of KIXEYE. Their focus I don't think is in the right side. Risk a little, gain a lot. Risk nothing, loose it all.
