Ya know, in the story of the game, reducing the point payout on older flts makes sense. Geir wants us to get info on the aliens, well guess what? we have learned just about everything we can from the regular hives, and the reapers are starting to become old news too. So quit your whining, and think about it logically. not only that, but the ever increasing flt lvs also makes sense. the aliens are getting annoyed that we have not died yet, so they are sending more powerful things to try and kill us
Sure, aliens adapting and sending stronger more valuable fleets makes sense.... but why does that have anything to do with the other fleets values, its not like they proportionately scaled down their difficulty, you dont take less damage. Juat because people hve had more time to work on them and fogure them out doesnt mean its gonna be easier. For someone who just bow figured out how to manage reapers its a major slap on the face, especially when they were the hardest thing around a couple weeks ago
really? lets say you see a dread, with aurora ray setup. The most you can learn from that, is how to build a dread, how to make aurora rays, fusion 3, and optics 5. That's assuming no shield. You can't learn anything new after that. same applies here. once you have figured their stuff out, there is nothing new to learn, hence why intel payouts are reduced
I see Dread this week, i see the point value for dread, i want to kill it. Next week i have a fleet to kill it, but now theyre worth 1/4 value. Oh hey i see a zeal, i can beat zeal with some adaptaions, i adapt, a week later once adapted theyre worth 1/4, look a hellfire, etc. yes of course we need to keep striving for more, but why does what we have already learned need to be useless to do so?
What more can you learn? you have the bp, what else is there to learn?
How to use it? Not just get it and forget it. Learnings not even really my point. Like chris said, we should be able to hit a few of these and a few of those, and not have a lvl55 fleet be an absolue waste of 5mn. Why is everyone all for cutting fleet values? When has it ever happened before? If the vsec fleet values droped 50% whej the 60+ cake out youd all be applauding that?
i never said i am for it, i just said that it makes sense. i would love for the hives to go back to the way they were

Well, hopefully at some point this constant increase of ridiculousness stops, and things stabilize before that happens, cuz the way it looks now is that they are just doing a final money grab, before the game explodes.

yeah i know i was thinking about checking out cloud priates on steam only 10$ and just came out because i dont see this game getting any better just see it ending
Kix, please, fix this rule due to not consistent. I cannot take it anymore, only COINER can do it. Think about non-coiner like as me and other. Xeno Cluster is very good, but I cannot take it and must take each one blueprint. So, I can conclude that : "KIX, FIX THIS RULE AND CHANGE SOLO TO CO-OP FOR ALIEN HARVESTER!"

Solo on harvesters is just cruel. Harvesters were co-op when they came out, they should stay that way. they were co-op for a reason, has that reason somehow been nullified?

These solo targets are balanced differently to co-op targets. They are not carbon copies of the old targets, this is not just a solo run on a co-op target.

okay.... and? just because that has happened, means nothing. they are higher lv, yet solo. this means that they HAVE to be more powerful than the co-op ones, or the devs are cheating with the lv system. either way, nobody likes it
If you decide to make the only way for players to get a blueprint is force them to crash fleets into harvesters many of your players are going to leave this game.
I have all game blueprints, but I doubt I have any fleets that can do these new fleets. I was unable to hit anything higher than level 85 in the last Mobilization event and from all the 80+ Hive fleets I hit. none of them dropped any patterns
These fleets are made to give players maximum unavoidable damage so they have to coin repairs.
Keep this up and I will also be looking for a new game to play myself

I understand this looks to be quite a daunting challenge, and it is. A few gentle reminders for everyone, though:
- Solo targets are balanced at a lower difficulty than Co-Op targets. Your task is not to face a level 95 Co-Op target by yourself. While boss targets will be extremely difficult (they are boss targets, after all), they are balanced for one player to tackle.
- Yes, the latest Xeno ships with the latest Xeno tech equipped will be the most efficient means to destroy a target. As was mentioned at the start of this season, the highest level tech from the monthly events and various sector activities are subsequently going to be the best to use for the highest level Alien targets. They are not the only means to destroy a target, just the most efficient.
- This event lasts for 4 days. A single boss target fight at the highest level will earn you enough points to unlock almost any prize in the store, and those are far from the only targets on the map. So don't go into this feeling like you have to completely clean out the store in a day, you have time and you have options. Plan your strategies accordingly.
No offence intended Chris but you do not even play this game so how can you possibly know what is and is not balanced? The reality is there has not been an event in the last year that has been properly balanced in over a year, as for the " the latest Xeno ships with the latest Xeno tech equipped will be the most efficient means to destroy a target" comment, yet again kixeye are making fleets for the 0.5% no life mega coiner player base rather than 99.5% player base that play the game and casually coin. as for the "event lasts for 4 days." rubbish well this is the biggest evidence that you are so far out of touch with the game its sad, if the fleets are like based on previous OP fleets a easy boss as you call them will cost a player 15h to 20h rep on a pun fleet and that's assuming you can even kill it with one fleet which i highly doubt. As for strategies lmao yet nor evidence you do not even play the game, vega does not have strategies any more its just plain and simple ram and coin
I welcome you to try to take on the minimum level of harvesters with anything else than Xeno Division. I doubt you'll even survive one hit. So by saying "most efficient" you pretty much meant "the only viable method that is available". I'm not the complaining type, but when offering "massage services" people usually don't mean BDSM sessions. Don't sugarcoat things. It only makes people angrier.

Please read and understand what you just said.
So for those that do not have large wallets with a disposable income of creating such fleets, can you please outline how these players are suppose to complete the event?
So a single boss target is smashed and I have 15 hours of repairs, giving me a maximum (If I am lucky) of 7 targets at 5.09 mil points. Now that seems like a lot, until you examine the store prices.
If you are seeking to outfit your Xeno Cutters or Punishers with the new weapon. You will need
Cutters 6 million points Punishers 4.8 million points
That does not include anything else, the new BP that is a great match for the weapon, crafting materials, or some DC Cutters to skip the build time.
What is kixeye really giving us? A event that requires players to have a top tier fleet in order to finish. If you can coin repairs. Don't Save the money for the new fleet. Don' build the Xeno Cutters as you will need to build Xeno Battleships and destroyers.
Why?
Didn't you read the "Upcoming events and content" from the development team?
The next high pay-off targets will be the revamped reaper fleets and AI targets that will resemble you attacking a base will be coming.
What should you build in the mean time? Punishers!!!! Without engines!!!! the Strike thrusters will be what is used to bridge the gap in speed. Just try to fit them with the Xeno Cannons and as much armor as you can. Meta III Shields are a waste of repair time.
Now get out there, close your wallets, and just say no to kixeye until they can host events that are balanced before hand and do not reduce the amount of points for a AI fleet by 50% just because we saw it last week. The people purchasing huge amounts of coins, already have cheap repair fleets to complete this event.
Now that is some grade A customer support from myself if I don't say so myself.

Still waiting for someone from kix to answer or explain the new special for the weapon type "Alien".
Currently there is only the Xeno Dis Cannons and the new Xeno Cluster missiles that are of type "Alien"... yet only the new Xeno Cluster missile weapon has a spread stat and AOE stat... the Xeno Dis Cannon does not. So what will be the effect on the Xeno Dis Cannon weapon system. 1) no impact - since there is no stat to modify for the Xeno Cannons 2) make something up?? but in reality no effect for the Xeno Cannons 3) state that the new special was only intended to be used for the Xeno Cluster missiles 4) something else???
The highest level target is a Boss version of the new Barrage (Defense) Hive that deals Explosive & Alien Damage
It's extremely powerful at long ranges, but is vulnerable to attack from up close.
The best strategy is to speed through its long range weapons, because it does significantly less damage at close range. As such, Cutters are recommended.
yeah we know that, its what we did last time, problem is I still got 2 1/2 days of repair from the last one where i wreaked all my cutters and cruisers so your suggestion is really not worth **** except stating the obvious.

So I could barely take out one of the new hives a few days ago and now a boss version? What will have changed? Too soon game design team, too soon!
Players don't want a back to back never ending cycle of events and tech to farm
12hr+ repair times from hitting these new fleets for this event is not fun. 4 min play time. 12 hours playing another game
Xeno Tech is supposed to make these events easier not essential. I should be able to use the other ships I built in the last 3 years to do these events. Is it even possible to kill a level 90+ harvester with rebel/vega/vsec class tech
Coining is supposed to supplement a players gaming experience not replace it or be an essential part of playing the game
An event designed for co-op that has no co op in it. I'm not elaborating on this one
The problem with this game is the power curves. Just look at the graphs I made. Said no vega conflict player ever
All Phase 3 targets contain loot that is guaranteed to drop, if the following requirements are met:
Battle ends in victory (not a draw or defeat)
Phase 3 timer is still active when combat ends
Why must the phase 3 timer still be active when combat ends in order to qualify for the drops? I believe that in previous decimation events, the only implication was that you can't grab the resources from the defeated alien fleet, which in itself doesn't make any sense. Why are you now adding the added penalty of not allowing the player to collect the drop?
Loot drops:
Barrage Hive lvl 80-85: Decimator Cutter Mk II Box
Barrage Hive lvl 88-90: Decimator Cutter Mk III Box AND Xeno Cluster Missile I Blueprint
Harvester Boss lvl 90: Decimator Cutter Mk III Box AND Xeno Cluster Missile II Blueprint
Harvester Boss lvl 93: Punisher Cruiser Mk IV Box AND Xeno Cluster Missile II Blueprint
Harvester Boss lvl 95: Punisher Cruiser Mk V Box AND Xeno Cluster Missile II Blueprint
>
Is the Punisher Cruiser boxes going to contain random drops again (i.e not everything needed to craft the required mark upgrade)? Are you saying that players are "guaranteed to receive random items"?

Agreed.
Who has a full fleet of punishers finished without coining? Let alone 6 decimators? To be able to take on the event fleet that drops the lvl 2 xeno cluster BP, since those fleets are called "efficient". More like a must....
Xeno has now become an absolute must and offering it as a BP drop from the highest lvl event fleets that only mega coiners can take down is an intentional effort by kix to increase the power gap and make the game crap for the rest of us.
So only mega coiners should have access to 12,000 DPS fleets, because they are the only ones who can hit those specific event fleets....
Why is it a BP "drop"? Why not points?
If it was a reusable credit, the tech would be limited, but it would be limited for all.
If it is a BP then it should not be limited and made available to ALL by making it redeemable with points purchase.<<<<<< (I don't care if its a credit or BP)
I say.... The xeno cluster BP 1&2 should be made available via points!
It should not be withheld from the average play by making it a drop, that too a BP drop.
Why don't you just sell the boss BP's for 10,000 coin. Then you can reduce event difficulty to standard to get more participation. Coiners get their edge, you get your money. Everyone happy. Or is it your aim to frustrate the majority of your user base?
Dear kix i am no longer supporting your. Not one more coin purchase. If game continues to go in this garbage direction ill just move on to next mobile game on phone. Now piss off
I´m out of this **** alien event, more and more devalue alien fleets, more and more damage to player fleets, more and more rep-time,HO! and more COINSHITOFFERS!!
In conclusion, kixeye must be dedicated to manure, they only know how to create more and more ****

DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS
I'll keep playing, mostly just watching. I'll keep building. I'll farm when I need to. Maybe one day I'll sell my account. (Are you gonna ban me for thoughtcrime kixeye?)
This is going to be a fun ride down the toilet, but it's no use getting mad. If anything, I feel bad for the stupid that wasted money on this, it would have been better spent on psychedelics.
Constant back-to-back events is turning Vega Conflict into Vega Farmville. It's exhausting to keep up, but if we don't keep up with the new tech we're at a disadvantage later on. We need a mix of short, intense events to get new tech, and then longer periods to play pvp and to hit player bases (my favorite, actually). Civil war is my favorite event of them all -- infinite variety of fleets and bases to compete with.
The argument of 'if you don't want to play the event just don't participate' doesn't hold water because it means I might miss out on critical tech for the next event and for future pvp. I am an endgamer with nearly all blueprints (all hulls except Valkyrie, and all ship weapons except tempest, for example). I missed out on manifold missile since I was traveling out of the country at the time, and it was a serious disadvantage later on. Now that I have it I can't even use it yet since I'm furiously building Punishers with 4 xeno cannon 3s on them. Had I not gotten 24 xeno cannon 3s I would be seriously handicapped. Kixeye, I like your game but please rachet down the introduction of new tech to once or twice a month, max.
If TopGear quits the game, so will I. His ship calc is irreplaceable. One great part of the fun of vega conflict is the infinite variety of building different fleets. I particularly enjoy maximizing the ships power (health, damage, maneuverability, etc) while keeping XP as low as possible.
Here's one example. Few people realize that one should *never* use 3 aurora 2s. Using 1 aurora 3 and 2 aurora 1s, instead, is superior once built (same mase, 2 more DPS, although build time and build cost is slightly higher). There, I gave away a secret to the Vega community. I don't mind now since Aurora is no longer a top weapon. Even Manni's fleets have this shortcoming (Manni's Apoc configuration guide has ships with 3 aurora 2 but they are sub-optimal. Hi Manni!). There are many other tricks like that.
Finding these sorts of build tricks is a fun part of Vega Conflict, squeezing out the best you can out of a ship.
I can't do that much anymore. Punishers are boring ... just max out the xeno cannon 3s on them, and that's it. Anything else is sub-optimal. Even Talonite 1 and 2 was useless when it came out, since talonite 3 is better in all respects (unlike the range of zynthium, by contrast). And then just after that, talonite 3 was suddenly obsoleted by EXAL armor, which is far superior. Similarly, the disintegrator blueprint came out and then was suddenly made entirely obsolete by the xeno version. In retrospect, I could have entirely skipped getting talonite 1,2,3, and dis. cannon 1,2,3, but I had no way of knowing that at the time.
Had I not continued to grind the constant non-stop events I wouldn't be able to build an optimal ship. Yet I can't keep up with constant events to keep up with the tech. I want some time to try out different builds, against bases, player fleets, and vega fleets, as well as trying them out on events.
I can't do that now. The events are too close together, which doesn't allow me to create a fleet for the event. When I finally do, it's suddenly obsolete. I have a great creeper battleship fleet that takes out Hive 55s with 1-click instant repair. That took me weeks to build, but now it only gets 5k points per hit, which is too slow. Since the events are so close together, I don't have the time to build a fleet of Punishers for the current events.
Unknown Reaper Fleets lvl 60-78 (pts range 30,000 - 152,460)
Really? Every Event these have been devalued another 10k points per level. Typically these end up being the only fleets I can do as everything is OP to even new punisher fleets. Why is lvl 60 going from 40k to 30K? Guarantee they are not getting easier.
Manni will go nuts when he will se the stupid 400dps cluster ****
Well, hopefully at some point this constant increase of ridiculousness stops, and things stabilize before that happens, cuz the way it looks now is that they are just doing a final money grab, before the game explodes.
Kixe has turned stupidity into an art.
WHEN i SEE so much STUPIDITY i just FACEPALM
Start at a range that's too long for our ships and take damage to close in.
Recommended tactics: Move in a straight line and wait.
Once we take damage and close in, we take little damage and just sit there shooting.
Recommended tactics: Sit and wait.
Afterwards, return to base and repair.
Recommended tactics: Coin so you don't wait
