Most of those games are not steam games but still good or decent games.
    • Minecraft
    • Warhammer 40k: Dawn of War Dark Crusade
    • Halo games in general

    • Battlerite
For those of you who really enjoyed Toime: Immortal Arena I would highly recommend this. I see lot of old friends I knew from Tome frequently playing Battlerite.
    • Ori and the Blind Forest
A very beautiful and stylish yet difficult plat former. The music is amazing.
    • Factorio
Strangely highly additive. A crafting game focused on building increasingly complex and larger factories to craft stuff for you. Automation is everything.
There is a large mod scene that can add a lot of additional depth to the game as well as longevity.
    • Reassembly
Build ships from a large variety of components (weapons, shields, armor, thrusters, energy gens, etc) and fly around battling opponents. There's a faction with a component based weaponry, you'll likely end up building a weapon with so much recoil that it'll smash your ship to pieces against the nearest asteroid.

Styx: Master of Shadows is a great game if your into absolutely brutal hardcore stealth games. (So hyped for the sequel.)
I also got a pretty good recommendation from Ralle recently for a game called Aragami, and whilst I haven't played it much, I l already love it.
The concept is great, visuals are stunning, and story and gameplay are solid as stone. Another fantastic stealth game.

I was thinking of doing that, but I went for Aragami instead. Next time Dishonoured roles around in the sales I'll pick it up and give it a go.
You ever played it Yard? If so, thoughts?

I've completed the main game and one of the DLCs. It's a really fun game with replay value as you can take different approaches, and the powers you get can be fun to play with. The story isn't bad either.

Sounds good, I'll definetly give it a try. I urge you to do the same with Styx. Whilst its graphics and AI aren't the very best, even by the standards of when it was released in 2014, the game is still a solid product in my book, and it, like Dishonoured, has alot of replay value. Its got different Insignia's to be earned, collectables, and very vertical levels with many different paths that can be taken to complete them.

And also, the powers can, whilst being somewhat limited perhaps, be alot of fun to mess around.
From trolling guards with clones to baiting them into deadly traps, there is alot to do in Styx.

If your worried about intensive gaming and have a spare desktop lying around, I could always give you a tip or two for building a better PC.
I've been doing alot of googling and have found some halfway decent components for a pretty moderate price online if your interested.

If there is one game that I will absolutely recommend, it would be the Witcher 3. An absolutely beautiful game with a great story and really emotional moments through out the game.

Buy minecraft even when it isn't a steam game. It's an open world sandbox game with no limits on what you can do.

especially messing around with 0 tick redstone and thing like that. 0 tick redstone behaves extremely weird. If you didn't know that but I'm 75% redstonerand the rest of the time is to build fully automatic farms like witch farms. I may take screenshots of my current world if it's a request.

    Time for an obscure suggestion.

Ever had the difficult choice in the afternoon of whether to have a bit of fun playing a computer game or to relax and program something (also usually a computer game)? Fear not! The TIS-100 combines an interesting complex problem solving game with programming.

Gonna give this thread a minor revival to recommend one of my all time favourite series of Tower Defence games, Kingdom Rush.
Ironhide are masters of their craft with these games, and of 2 of the first 3 games in the series, Kingdom Rush, and Kingdom Rush frontiers, can be found on Steam (as well on Google Play and iOS) and I love them to death.

The game has a beautiful cartoon-like art-style with cutscenes presented in a well presented comic book look, and the gameplay is solid as stone. Towers are varied, and you can control powerful units called Heroes, each one with a distinct appearance, personality, and gameplay style. Cannot recommend highly enough. So hyped for both the next Kingdom Rush game, whatever it may be known as, as well as their next game that sets to enter open Beta in a couple of months, Iron Marines. An RTS that looks as good as their games always do.

Now that this is back, there's another game I'd recommend: Hearts of Iron 4. It's a WW2 simulator and it's really good. If anyone gets it, let me know and we'll play sometime.

I mean, I just randomly thought of Tome and decided to check back in. Still dead, I played it regularly beforehand when it was browser based.  Then they permanently shifted it over to steam, ;.;.  Not to mention added a 5v5 map which none of the characters were designed for, and instead of making this interesting 3v3 game they shoe-horned it into looking like every other thing.

I use to be the top no 1 Robin (They reset the scoreboard after the 5v5 and steam introduction, not many people played her, thank god), I remember one of the small streamers playing Talia? Played it a lot, he was the top one for it and they had soooo many games compared to no.1 spot Robin cause no one played her. XD. Then they nerfed Robin, and I cried. Honestly looking back on this and all the characters it honestly makes me sad. It had so much potential to be unique. :/

And I swear I remember your user name Blazing, probably just played with you quite often it was a very close-knit community whilst it was browser based and alive. :/
