Well there are 2 but you can only build one of them
I guess it can OP since it has a 360 firing angle which can lead to crazy unfair kitting in which the corvettes can hit you but you can't hit them since they are in your blind spot and are faster.
Adding it will also make it easier for high lvl players to smash low lvl players with corvettes too.
Though I do want corvettes too cause it makes the game more complete in fleet variability but it will be very hard to balance i guess.
Back in the old days (a few years ago), I tackled VEGA Conflict but it was too much for me to handle, but I remember there was this crazy build where Corvettes with a Rail Driver was sniping ships that was following it.

I was thinking maybe it could be class focused on killing fighters like have a bonus against them?
Cause in other games i have played corvettes tend to be the anti fighter class
And why not just give them a stronger support role? Like being able to help other ships recharge thier shields?
But then there is a lot of things i would like that probs wont happen
Like a deticated cargo class
And probably a miner ship class? Since we are suppose to be miners rebelling right?(im not 100% sure what the story is behind this game)
Miner class ships would prob give bonuses like better drop rate for crates and stuff (a small bonus of course)
And be able to mine on the battle field?
Maybe you could attack the helium and mineral fields directly and use the miner ships to mine there
Instead of haveing to wait for cargo fleets to spawn?
There are 4 corvettes actually just 1 is only buildable. (Pathfinder, voyager, colonial (the corvette seen in low tier in planet anti matter fleets), and swarm (them ultra speedy bastards)) but carriers have pretty much taken the role as the "new corvette"... corvettes could come back as long as the range mod us reduced to like 90% or something but then again theyd be weak as hell...
Cause kixeye cant make a fleet that would stand a chance against something that shoots in all angles unless they cheat us like normal and overpower the fleets if you look at the stats when the game is playing you can see mark 7 and 8 upgrades but never seem players have that ability they have hidden marked up stuff for the NPC
