Unstable Wormholes & Unknown Signals: Explained *Updated*

Hello everyone it's TurkS3T again :)

I just wanted to share the information that I've gather about these fine looking aliens

[If any information is found wrong, I apologize in advance]

First off the "Unstable Wormholes":




These Wormholes stay for around 10-15 minutes, but then they disappear
[I don't know when they spawn back in, so i didn't put anything down, because it would be false information]

These wormholes obviously spawn out Unknown Signals

These Wormholes spawn Unknown Signal Levels 60, 63, 65, 70
All those levels give a different amount of armaments but I'll explain that further down the post

Other than that information they have a cool green glow

Next are the "Unknown Signals":






Unknown Signals are the Alien fleets that players can choose to attack but they aren't very easy
And yes they do still give payouts for the event, but it's not alot, as in not worth the damage you'll take
But it is still fun hitting them because its different from the normal Vega Conflict we know

This is a "Unknown Signal" that is Damaged:

This is a "Unknown Signal" that is Aggressive, as in chasing player fleets:



[!IMPORTANT!]:

KEEP IN MIND AGGRESSIVE HAS A RED AURA, AND DAMAGED HAS A GREEN ONE

Extra Information about Unknown Signals:

Unknown Signals can chase down fleets, when they chase they become very fast

Also if a Unknown Signal is hit alot of times without it being killed, it will try to warp away
(It happened with me and my alliance when we were taking down a 70, it tried warping away, just like a Javelin warping, but we stopped it in its tracks, by obviously going into combat)

[I don't know how accurate this one is]
But apparently when you're in battle all your ships have a stasis effect, aka all ships move slower than usual

Now whats inside these Unknown Signals...
I'll show you:



Here we have the "Alien Carrier"

The "Alien Carrier" has alot of armor and no shields

It deploys 3 types of squadrons
explained below

Now the first type of squadrons I like to call are "Probes":



Now before i start explaining, there was talk of LXC saying these "Alien Squadrons" were Energy Damage Type, LXC has confirmed that it is NOT that
My guess is Radioactive Damage Type, why?
[Because in a old game named "Battle Pirates", (also made by Kixeye), they is a green damage type, known as Radioactive]

Now the "Probes" have the longest range, but lowest damage out of the 3 squadrons that the carrier releases as seen in the picture above
they have a chrome gold look to them, with a sphere shape

Next, I call these the "Swarm", you should know why from the image below:



Now the "Swarm" are strong, and the "Swarm" range is in between the "Hornets" and "Probes"
Also they travel in a big group as seen in the picture above

-They also travel very fast-

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lastly, I like to call these "Hornets" because of the horns on their back:



The "Hornets" also move very fast just like the "Swarm", they're range is the smallest in the group
But just like the "Swarm" they have very big DPS

Now to the information of what happens when fighting them, and also what you get

Lets take a look, I'm going to use my buddy @Manni-Gaming in this example:



as you can see when attacking it says..

"Sensors Jammed"

Meaning when hovering over ships, you can't see their range arcs/circles
Also meaning, Kixeye wants to play the memory game with everyone

Now when you first starting attacking the Unknown Signals, you spawn in the middle with 3 "Alien Carriers" on the bottom of you and on the top-left/top-right of you

Keep in mind the "Alien Squadrons" have insane range so be careful when attacking

Fun Fact:
The Unknown have a green wormhole profile picture

What are the rewards for killing these monstrous Unknown Signals?:

Well you get Unknown Objects, they're basically Armaments
(probably to the alien race used for mark upgrades)

Payouts for killing them:

Level 60:
x10-15 Armaments

Level 63:
x15-20 Armaments

Level 65:
x20-25 Armaments

Level 70:
x25-50 Armaments

    Anyone know if the alien's will be coming back for this event? I missed it the first time around today.

    Don't forget that the unknown signals will go after player fleets under certain conditions, so you have to be careful when you exit combat from a DC fleet or steal cargo.

    uhm maybe i am wrong but it semt like they show the symbols of a flagship fleet when engaged, u know this red taintet cross and so

    also u said they try to warp away, maybe are those parts for a new flag ship technology?

    i saw mannni receive 50 unknown objects for hitting a lv70 but you have it posted as 25, is that acurate?

    The Unknown Signals have a shape even when not damaged.

    Yes 3 over powered carriers and you are in a slow field the whole time.

    All for an item we will regret not getting I almost guarantee it

    when you hit 70, you can get 50 objects

    It does at least based on my experience. I have tried 6 cruisers, 5 with meta 3 X 2 and 1 with spec 5 X 2. The one with spec died really quick but meta ones live much longer.

    I'm pretty sure that the level 70 alien fleets drop 50 unknown objects.

    I'm pretty sure that is not a damaged Unknown, but one that is in aggressive mode ie chasing a player's fleet.

    Well that's very interesting. I didn't notice a difference in the ones I saw that were damaged (battles I had been watching), but I know the ones chasing people are red. Maybe a brighter red than your screenshot.
