I never intended to imply that cutting sectors had anything to do with this.
Please try to understand how complicated the problem actually is. The core game code for War Commander was literally bought from the command and conquer series. That core code is literally around 20 years old. The code that provides the visuals and ties it into the attack/defense command system, the isometric view of your base, etc.
Then, spec ops, world map, deposit system, live battles, thorium type resources, infamy system, unique units, change in aircraft platoon structure/functionality, tiered events, vxp system, tactics functionality, and much more were woven into core computer code that quite possibly could have been used to write Oregon Trail. Oncemore, the code is probably not even all the same code, it could even be C, C+ and C++ mixed in with modern languages, I don't even know.
Additionally, kix has to talk to adobe, browser companies, etc constant in order to stay secure, not to mention physically work with constant updates in the internet world. The older computer codes aren't really designed for this type of constant updatability either.
I'm sure you can grasp the concept of how gargantuanly complicated the problem is. It's not all their fault all the time like seems to be the common opinion around here. What are they going to do, bring the game down for a month to rewrite the entire thing? You see how irate people get when it's down for 2 hours, can you imagine a couple of days? a week? a month?
That's why I've been trying to get us and kix to communicate more. So they can talk with us about stuff like this. Quite obviously they can't get really technical for security reasons, but I think that everyone would be A LOT more understanding with programmers that basically inherited this problem from other programmers if players had the basic idea of what is really going on here. That's why I've trying and trying and trying to get everyone to stop badmouthing them all the time. I want them to feel comfortable getting on here and telling us what the problem is...

i understand what your saying but this player was reported over a week ago. If C****s were seen to be banned then everyone would be happy but when they stay around forever it is annoying

OPERATION: ROACH EXTERMINATION
Late last year we began a massive initiative to reduce cheating in War Commander. We’ve gradually been chipping away at these cheats one at a time, and, by the end of this month, you’ll see yet another major loophole closed: Repair Cheating!

ALLIANCE RAIDS
When we first shipped Alliances last year, we regret that we didn’t really give you too much to do as an Alliance. With Alliance Raids, we seek to correct this problem.
Sick and tired of having your home sector invaded by the Hellhounds, Corpus, or the Eastern Horde? Now you and your Alliance can return the favor! Collect faction Intel on the world map by striking Intel bases. Then spend that Intel to activate a Raid. In a Raid, you can send a predefined number of your platoons to strike at your enemies in their own home Sectors. While having a powerful army matters, having allies matters just as much! Work together to defeat your enemies for great rewards!
ALLIANCE WAR EFFORTS
Raiding enemy sectors earns precious Supplies. Supplies can then be spent to activate War Efforts. There are three War Efforts that you can activate (and all three can be active simultaneously). One boosts your units, one boosts your turrets, and the last boosts your resource collection. Though War Efforts only remain active for a limited time, every member of your Alliance fully benefits from them when they are active. A coordinated Alliance can use War Efforts gain huge benefits during Events, a major advantage while at war with other Alliances, or additional Thorium looted from your enemies while preparing for future battles!
RETURN OF WAVE EVENTS
We know you guys have been asking for this one and we aim to deliver big time! With our very next event we’ll be returning to an improved version of the Wave System! Now, you’ll have three tracks to conquer: Attack, Defense, and Master. Right from the start of the Event, you’ll be able to participate in both the Attack and Defense Tracks, each of which offers its own loot. Progress far enough in both the Attack and Defense Tracks, and you’ll unlock missions in the Master Track. Though Master Track Missions are far fewer in number, they are especially challenging and offer great rewards.
You can Reset your Event progress at any time, if you want to replay for more goodies, but you’ll only have a limited number of Resets, so make sure you use them wisely!
PvP OVERHAUL
Hold onto your hats, folks, after the conclusion of PvP Preseason 2, there will be a glorious overhaul of our PvP systems. With Repairs fully secured, the test of skill will be real. You’ll see vastly improved Leaderboards, broken up into multiple divisions, and tons of rewards. People reset within their divisions monthly and get payouts depending on how high they climbed on the Leaderboard. Of course, as many of you have said, without lower Repair Times, PvP would have a tough time getting off the ground, even with all these also improvements. Well, prepare to be shocked: we’ve heard you!
Not only did we recently reduce Repair Times across the board by 35%, but we’re going to introduce a new type of Platoon in the Platoon Manager dedicated to PvP. If you choose to put your units in a PvP Platoon instead of a standard Platoon, you can only use them to hit other players, but they will have significantly reduced Repair Times (on top of the previous reduction)!
SECTOR OPTIMIZATION
While there are a ton of you out there, it’s undeniable that some players start the game and it just doesn’t connect with them. These players would start up the game, get through the tutorial, and it just wasn’t what they were expecting. Unfortunately, this meant sectors would fill up with these bases, causing us to need more Sectors, and ultimately a massive inflation of the number of Sectors we needed.
Over the past few months, we began an active process of culling bases that belonged to these players who didn’t stick with the game and, as a result, this exposed the fact that we have many, many more sectors than we need. So, we’ll be reducing the total number of available Sectors, so that we can better optimize sector performance and balance the ratio of player to non-player bases. You can expect advance notice on this as we get close to the date so that everyone has time to adjust.
STABILITY AND PERFORMANCE
It goes without saying that we can do better on this front. Fortunately, we’re going to be dedicating additional resources to both solving critical bugs and improving performance in the coming months. Much of this is be made possible by the conclusion of some of these other major initiatives. We want to make sure that War Commander can be enjoyed by everyone and we are planning to make some real progress on this front soon!

kixeye server take so long to respond over 150ms and my net or dns is very fast on other game i have no lag coz there server respond fast ,2 thinks u server is to slow or to busy to respond

i am sorry to say but most of us give up reporting coz kixeye dont respond P.S. only if u know someone in fp they will respond and is no poin reporting any more coz players they come back not 1 not 2 not 3 but over 5 times

So now you are blaming the players for sending in tickets on players that are stealing income from this company, the players are doing the job of what this company should be doing and they are punish nice. How could this be our fought? I heard a few Mod's once say that spamming of mass tickets was a Myth, but now you say it's real lol who knew. You stated that there are other ways to get support either by the way of Mods or CM's, not true i personally sent you cypertoad a few video's and photo's about some of the players on the other team not one word and that player still here today, skipjack same, Covehomer sent him video's on a player and he told me that player was okay come to find out 2 days later that player got banned nice other support.
Just my opinion, but honestly disregarding performance issues for a moment (although it is a very big frustrating issue), the game has become very boring. I don't PvP any more in WC because I 'm simply frustrated with the poor performance, so I PvP in other games. That leaves me with very boring and repetitive PvE content of farming, grinding, farming again, pushing a button for a defense wave, farming, grinding, monthly event with nothing really new, farming.... that is basically the WC experience for me. I lost any excitement I held in the past towards monthly events, and the lottery system took away all the fun out of being strategic (chance does not equal skill). On most days I find it difficult to muster the will to push the log-on button and I simply play other games instead or do other things. Usually I only log on now once or twice a week for what I call 'account maintenance', to do a Shadow-Ops base and rotate the units queue in the War Factory I keep as a resource bank.

they should start paying MOD or give them free gold or free units free event free upgrade they work hard and i am sure they will do good job and give them a task each day scan sectors they most players on it,if they sit and read and do nothing about it it will not work
The Workshop is way too messed up. Concept of components is ok. But, I never know how much I have of what. Simplify. Make it a great big spreadsheet of units vs components, then allow me to filter on each axis.
The changes you made recently to the Tech Center and Academy made it harder to see what is going on. I liked the old UI much better. More intuitive. Looking pretty does not translate to effective or useful. Both 2&3 here are addressing "utility". This is a war game, make it easy to see how your troops stand up, and where you can get them to.
You need upgrades that help reduce repair times. As many have stated, as you get higher in level and level up your troops, the repair times get unacceptable. I don't want to hit once, then have to take a 3 day break. But, faster repairs should not come for free either, or you will have people with weak bases, but tough toons wrecking the game.

agreed because the game is not balance properly, kixeye catering for coiners not every player anymore, they nerfed all the bases and made most too hard, the point of the game was you could do the bases but had to use a certain unit and take losses, now you cant, you lose or get someone else to the bases for you, i enjoyed hitting the rogue faction hellhound 45s because they were like the old sickle 40s, you needed to hthink and look for the weak spots, but it didnt matter what level your unit was, now if you dont have ranked units with workshop you might aswell forget hitting ANY of the new bases...
and getting medals is near impossible now they removed the 30s, and no i dont want to hit other players for infamy, i enjoyed the game hitting rogue factions as did many others that kixeye have now pushed out the game!
am sorry but they only have $$$ on their mind why else would a player have to pay to submit a ticket they should put cash player against each other
When support was open and free for all, players use to spam the system to the extreme that Kixeye couldnt sort through all the report.
Premium support is now for people who have dedicated their hard earned resources ( money ) toward the game.
All other player who do not get this Premium support still have access to the forums where CS, CMs, the game team and moderators monitor what players need help with.
There is always support in one fashion or another.

If what you said is true, then is the fault of ticketing system that there is no sorting of reports being done and Kixeye has to change the system other than forcing players to coin.
listen to what kix said. They listed the sections that were closed up to roaches.
They are merely trying to inform us what base mechanical game functions that they have made server authoritative/ physically impossible for a player to change, and tell us what the ballpark timeline/game plan is for closing the remaining sections.
Don't get too excited about what level his resource, etc. buildings are. roaches getting inside buildings so-to-speak has been closed, but there are other ways to skin a cat so-to-speak.
I know it is indescribably frustrating and is taking an eternity of time, but we can help kix along the way by showing our appreciation for what has been closed, informing them of everything that we are seeing and offer positive reinforcement and motivation to fix the rest. I know it sucks right now, but that's all we can do.

Please try to understand how complicated the problem actually is. The core game code for War Commander was literally bought from the command and conquer series. That core code is literally around 20 years old. The code that provides the visuals and ties it into the attack/defense command system, the isometric view of your base, etc.
Then, spec ops, world map, deposit system, live battles, thorium type resources, infamy system, unique units, change in aircraft platoon structure/functionality, tiered events, vxp system, tactics functionality, and much more were woven into core computer code that quite possibly could have been used to write Oregon Trail. Oncemore, the code is probably not even all the same code, it could even be C, C+ and C++ mixed in with modern languages, I don't even know.
Additionally, kix has to talk to adobe, browser companies, etc constant in order to stay secure, not to mention physically work with constant updates in the internet world. The older computer codes aren't really designed for this type of constant updatability either.
I'm sure you can grasp the concept of how gargantuanly complicated the problem is. It's not all their fault all the time like seems to be the common opinion around here. What are they going to do, bring the game down for a month to rewrite the entire thing? You see how irate people get when it's down for 2 hours, can you imagine a couple of days? a week? a month?
That's why I've been trying to get us and kix to communicate more. So they can talk with us about stuff like this. Quite obviously they can't get really technical for security reasons, but I think that everyone would be A LOT more understanding with programmers that basically inherited this problem from other programmers if players had the basic idea of what is really going on here. That's why I've trying and trying and trying to get everyone to stop badmouthing them all the time. I want them to feel comfortable getting on here and telling us what the problem is...
Yes my friend this is what I like, that's why your name is wrongthinker mate. An extra idea would be those bases which are long time offline or old.old bans it should be erased from data's as it will I think improve the game and it will be less lags. Kind Regards Vodka King DeejayKiller

How could this be our fought? I heard a few Mod's once say that spamming of mass tickets was a Myth, but now you say it's real lol who knew.
You stated that there are other ways to get support either by the way of Mods or CM's, not true i personally sent you cypertoad a few video's and photo's about some of the players on the other team not one word and that player still here today, skipjack same, Covehomer sent him video's on a player and he told me that player was okay come to find out 2 days later that player got banned nice other support.
I lost any excitement I held in the past towards monthly events, and the lottery system took away all the fun out of being strategic (chance does not equal skill). On most days I find it difficult to muster the will to push the log-on button and I simply play other games instead or do other things. Usually I only log on now once or twice a week for what I call 'account maintenance', to do a Shadow-Ops base and rotate the units queue in the War Factory I keep as a resource bank.
They should assign some Fp to do 1 task at a time and should be handled in a proper manner. But I think they would do it in the future.
