A MESSAGE FROM H.M. KERES THE VIIth
------------------------------------


This is Keres VII of the Iron Star Company, ally to the Rebellion.

We have just now retrieved the third document from the VEGA cache. This is the document we have been anticipating: conclusive proof of Larus' involvement in VEGA's experiments, and in a management role, to be sure.

The key this time appears similar to the first document, only more complex. I trust you'll be able to break the encoding once again.

I can authorize yet another reward for the first to deliver the document, key and methodology. Please understand, my staff wants to verify that your procedure is replicable.

Evidence suggests there is one final document yet to be retrieved.

    you forgot to mention that the people that already correctly decipher the code and given the answer on how they did should not participate for this puzzle contest. let others get a chance to win this time. :p

    also would we read it as 52 49 46 46 86? and go in straight lines across then down or through each group? example. 52 49 46 46 10 00 00 00.....        then the next section that starts off as 86 00 00 00 01......?

    The first line defines a RIFF WAV file, but I'm at work so can't encode it

    All you get from going down the wav path is a <1 second file with a click in it, or i've done it wrong somehow

    It's way too small to just be a .wav file on its own. I'm assuming its just one of the many bits and pieces in this thing.
