Iron Blood: Consequences.
Well the iron blood event is done and dusted. The players have (rightly) sided with Her Majesty Keres Regina et Imperatrix the 7th, although with a closer margin than is comfortable. As players are curious as to the outcome of their descision, I sat down with the lore writer and asked the following. I hope it's enough to whet your appetite for more of VEGA Conflicts story.

What if the rebels had supported Larus?
Keres would have sought to regain control of the Iron Star Company on her own, at the risk of her life. If she'd succeeded, Keres would have broken her contract with the rebels, leaving them alone in their fight against VEGA. Any secret information she gathered about Larus would have disappeared with her.
Meanwhile, Larus would have shared a small amount of insider VEGA knowledge, as he usually does. This help would have been quite valuable, especially as the rebellion prepares to face new VEGA threats. Larus was also planning to reveal some crucial information about the Iron Star Company. Were they really mind-controlled by Bishop, or was there something else going on after all?
What are the consequences of supporting Keres?
Keres still wants to regain control of the Iron Star Company, but now she can do it with your help. The chances of breaking VEGA's grip on Iron Star and dissolving the Amber Army are significantly higher thanks to the rebellion's decision.
Since Keres is alive and well, she is also able to share some secret information about Larus and his involvement with the Blood Amber research project. There's also rumors that she might be interested in cooperating with Algol...
Larus is quite resourceful (and self-centered), so he's likely to keep himself alive. Certainly, he intends to keep running the Black Market for any rebels who support him. Unfortunately, his insider knowledge of VEGA won't be on sale; the rebellion will have to rely on their own intelligence gathering from now on.

Why is Larus still around...he should be gone and someone else take over the black market.
Next is it really worth haveing tons of mercs to fight VEGA do they want money and etc. like most mercs do?
Then We have the ever mysterious aliens that are still being wvaed around even though they haven't been fully developed from what KIXEYE has been saying.
And it would make sense that LARUS is self centered he came from VEGA and wouldn't like to die at the hands of a rebel or Bishop and his troops. Also this makes him more valuable.
So what does Keres know that she is holding off on too?
Lurus sucks. If he was really on our side, he would of told us already about the vega secrets instead of hiding info from the Rebels. You lost now lurus.

Well...I certainly doubt it, yet does this mean Larus supporters might get something the 'winners' whom supported Keres will not? Or will Kere supporters get anything extra because they picked the victor?
I know this all is based on the Vega Lore being written, but will any of this Lore impact awards or Black Market? Yes, you indicated he will continue being the face yet is that all?
This seems like proof that larus was the way to go. Keres would have just abandoned us whereas even though we kicked larus out he is still willing to at least help us even if it's not with information.

The players choice does not affect the BM or the rewards. It would be incredibly unfair to give one side more prizes based off an arbitrary choice.
