The case of the money hound - Story of Kixeye
Once upon a time, the world was a dark, desolate place. There was only one entity. Thay entity was Kixeye. One time, Kixeye said into the void "Let there be microtransactions" and then there were microtransactions. Kixeye then said "Let there be coiners" and there were coiners. These coiners were the essence of Kixeye. They fed the beast lots of dollars to keep it alive and healthy. In return, they got riches of coins. Throughout generations in this mysterious world, everything was well. But then something horrifying happened. Some of these coiners gave birth to children with genetic mutations. These were later named the "intelligents". They over time got fed up with feeding Kixeye hundreds of dollars to keep it happy. Some started feeding the beast less, some stopped entirely. For unknown reasons, the intelligents seemed to reproduce more, and the coiners were beginning to die out.
After the coiners started becoming scarce, Kixeye knew it was time to do something. They took their peaceful void, and smited the hell out of it everyone was fighting. The intelligents become known as the rebels, who attacked other rebels aswell as the peaceful and harmless alliance known as VEGA. Back in the day, VEGA stood for "Very Evil Greedy Animal", which was named after the once worshipped entity Kixeye.
All of this leads us to where we are today. The greedy beast named Kixeye still thrives on the remaining coiners, but they are slowly dying out, and one day, possibly, this will cause Kixeye to die out too.
