State of the Game

    I think what Battle Pirates REALLY needs is something new and invigorating. Here is my proposal to bring back the fun!

    Forsaken Mission ULTRA-ELITE Tier:
    • FM returns to 3 days for both sets and there is an additional 5th tier for 150 million points that gives super good prizes.
    Raids:
    • No forms of co-op or retreat at all. If someone retreats from or dies in a target, it resets.

    I think this would really revive BP. It's what is needed for a healthy and thriving environment. By the way, nobody can dislike or flag my comments since apparently disagreeing with someone's point of view isn't allowed. You all have to smile and nod like you have for every other crappy post poorly disguised as "input" or a "suggestion" in this thread.

    I am not generally an **** but if you are then I will hold a mirror up for you. If you are a good egg then we are all good, I'll still attack you but I'll be nice about it, it is Battle Pirates after all not Farm Candy Pets Ville.

    First time ever posting in here. Have played this game for over 5 years and I'm not a big coiner. It's lost all of it's appeal!! When I was a mid 50 lvl I could keep 75's and some 80's out of my base. Now at lvl 81. I can't even stop a lvl 73. This game has lost a lot in the last couple of years and it's mostly players. I'm soon too be one of them! If anyone from Kix reads this you can check my log from when I started and see that I've been a consistant contributor in time and coin. NOT ANY MORE!!!!

    FM 150mill T5...good luck...this wish will coming faster as a reality as lower shipbuilding/repairingtimes.

    No forms of co-op or retreat in raidtargets: If you HAVE to kill your fleet that you can send in an other fleet - or the target will get an reset - thats the gravestone for the raids.

    In the recent raidtargets, you can pick up some enemyships with ships witch have the best damagedefense against them...if you are fast enough, you can escape with retreat...and you can send in an other fleet. That is called "strategy". With your suggestion, there is only place for "tactic"...its only good for the big whales, which can afford to have the best fleets. On the other hand, it will force the weak pirates to use only zombiefleets.

    Both ideas are only for the "big" pirates with all toys.

    (Sarcasm on) My suggestion: No retreat for only the A-set in the raids...so you will get a lot of new friends with the right stuff :) (Sarcasm off)

    Seriously: WHY? Do you dont have the feeling to be comfortable with the recent "entertainment"? Are you bored? Nothing to do in the real life?

    Peeps like you are the reason, that the game is where it is now. And now you want it "hardcore" with a no retreat ability in the raidtargets
    and a 150mill T5 ? Dont whine if your wishes come true...

    Come on man... You HAD to realize I was just being sarcastic and saying random crap for **** and giggles. I didn't mean any of that. It was to make the point that my ridiculous suggestions would blend in with all the other laughable stuff suggested here.

    Why does a higher level target need to be linked to a tier increase? Do you have inside information?

    I watched some one hit a base with skull ranked Drac Carriers, and this is the main problem with kixeye, they believe that they can force everyone to do this.

    The game has been made easy for base hitters not defenders in an effort to promote base hitting. No one hits bases so its a way for kixeye to get the people going.

    Why is a tough target a problem with kixeye? You don't need to do every target straight away. You are not forced to. So that seems to be your belief.

    Drac bases started initially somewhat difficult. And Dregdes. So did 65s in the FM.....

    sorry i thought you were saying that kixeye were forcing everyone to do it.

    there is no point any one posting any thing on any site its as simple has this kikeye wants you money simple has that  i have been playing 4 yeas and have never seen 1 thing in build reduction time  so don't waste your time  just go silent and don't use there forums

    Well the mods are doing something... Either that ore people are editing their posts a lot.

    As i have 120 notifications and the conversation has only advanced four pages.
    It's only a game if it's free. If you pay it's a hobby and it's a gamble!
    In real life if you throw money at a game (mid game) it's called bribery and it's classed as cheating!

    Interesting how a lot of 'computer games' companies have built their company (business model) around cheating!

    I hope Kix I have lost over half of my team because of this build times and retro and the upgrade and repair are just crazy long and collecting is taking to long also so if you can please do this for all of us it would be great thank for your time ship

    Now that the new research has started we have a better image from how it works (not works) For every little bit from reducing build and repairtimes you need so much U its not fun anymore. I wonder how the team thinks that midlevel players will gain enough U to start the objectives. 
    THat having said I want to give my thoughts about the sectorbar and the spawndrop from armada's.
    When the bar went to yellow , there should be armada's spawning but they hardley come out, and as soon they do it are mostly 75 armada's , personal I can kill this armada's its not a problem for me, but for most players around level 60/70 and even from 80 it will be very hard to get already the first 100k U that is needed to start the first objective. Than this first levels just reduce 2 % from repairtime , most will say that is not worth all the effort you put in. And I have to agree with that. 

    This objectives are fun and helpfull for the higher levels as they have the tech already and won't have to much troubles getting there, but also for them the reduce times are a joke. If this is the answer from the gameteam to reduce repair and buildtimes, my honest thoughts is that its just a laugh at us players. 

    There has been said it should be a game for fun no need to schedule your life around kix as U will be there when YOU need it and not when kix plans it.

    The reality is..... you have to open 3 hours or longer cargo's to get the armada's spawning and serious that is when you work together with others , else its even impossible. So that adds already 3 hours to your playtime, (rather get the dredges back then you knew ok i need U lets login a bit on tuesday and friday just 1 hour will do it.)

    Sure you can just hop in and check the bar and leave again, wait till others make it yellow for you.
    Then when the armada's finaly coming out said it above already the rate is very low , and the spawn is not enough to keep the bar yellow , so to the U bases most sectors won't come.

    When the sectorbar came out in first it was easy to keep it yellow, but that has been changed , perhaps when the spawn gets back at that point it will become better, but at the moment no.

    So conclusion, no the game did not become better , it became more difficult for the midlevel players , there is not really a change to catchup with the top players. 

    Everything seems to be for the top players, and to keep new players and midlevel players there has not been done much till nothing.
    The reduced weaponweight is a good thing but its far from enough.

    For the highlevels its also not getting better , last raid there have not been tokens to redeem, then again new tech in the mission so again no tokens.
    There will be a FAT (ermm us was told there would NEVER be a FAT again) but here it is. If you want to do this kinda stuf why not let us do campaigns to gain tokens to reduce build times repairtimes etc. That would be way more helpfull.

    About the sectorbar many did complain but the Team won't listen, how you mean Kix is listening to its players ?
    They don't they only see that a few can do it easily so they make it harder.The option to move to an other more active sector seems to be the only thing that you can do. But should Kix not just remove bannend players and inactive players ?When a account is not played on for 1 year just remove it , and perhaps move all bases along and close sectors .THat might be the solution for the sectorbar. But don't tell us it works as intended , in that case your intentions are not to help players but to make them play more and spend more.

    mini state of the game: 
    - some great prizes were added to T3 --> got Arbalest and Interception System this week
    - never had that much uranium in my account --> doing a drac 60 from time to time
    - making progress on FM --> T3 is less than an hour, making progress to reach T4 in a reasonable amount of time

    So for a mid-level player the opportunities to grow has increased.

    (i know, i know, there are lots of things to be improved, that must get better, but just wanted to mention that last weeks did gave me a push in growth)

    Why not? I have been playing this game almost since the start and I'm only a L72 (I was a lot less than that, but that level sorting a few months ago jumped me heaps of levels...).
