I'm getting wasted trying to kill a lvl 20 what's a good setup I have no anti matter gear, but I have bought everything else just no anti matter stuff because I can't seem to kill any of those ship's. My Bridge is at lvl4 all other buildings are at lvl 6. any help would be nice on how I can take them out thanks.

Keep trying, learn from your mistakes. Dodge incoming fire whenever possible. Use multiple fleets to get the job done if you have to. Above all else though, LEARN from your mistakes.

we are missing some valuable info here. what hulls do you have? what are the maximum tech/weapons that you have? as others have said, practice makes perfect. But, if YOU need advice, WE need to know what we have to work with in order to help you.

One thing begets the next. A man has a weakness, he's flawed. That flaw leads him to guilt. The guilt leads him to shame. The shame he compensates with pride and vanity. And when pride fails, despair takes over and they all lead to his destruction. It will become his fate... somethings gotta stop the flow!

Adapt and evolve, only then will no-one stand in your way!

I'm experiencing a few of the same problems here, buddy. I can beat them but it comes at a fairly heavy cost. Keep working on your strategy and you'll get them. Also, equip shockwave shields if you can, the higher level ships like to use hex missiles and other explosive weaps. A long range setup also does nicely if you can micro-manage them well; Janus Dread makes a good point as well - Use multiple fleets. I like to use cheaper harrier fleets to kite the slow, heavy ships and then rancors and exos to clean up. Good luck out there!

As is the case with ALL cargoes up to level 40 - use MD Frigates with Rear 4/5 and do the run and fire tactic. Strafe away from shots from a Destroyer while taking long range shots at all other ships without letting them fire back at you. You can get MD 1s on Talons with Rear 4 at level 20-25 quite easily. Until you have MDs, any long range weapon will do. You could do Hex (PBs) or Torps or Gauss. Whatever works for you to keep your range so you don't get hit.

    I don't play much anymore =(

what's a good ship and a good setup for that ship to take on a lvl20. I've watched youtube video's but that doesn't help because they are ALL out dated.

    This is what I have

    Ships:

all of them up to Exodus Cruiser I can build

    Ship tech:

Iridium Composite lvl1 just started lvl 2

    Arms:

    Pulse Ray: lvl 2

    Rail Driver: lvl 4

    Scatter Missle lvl3

    Disruptor Ray: lvl2

    No Hex need anti matter

If there's a good config or a good ship to use please let me know, I'll always keep trying just wondering if someone has some good ideas to give.

    thanks for the help.

  • The Venom is a good ship (or Rancor if you have them), get the biggest group of ships you can and send them in to attack but don't join.  This way the ships will fight the battle themselves.

I use 2 fleets of 4 Rancors each (all I can launch). The Rancs have a mix of scatter missiles & rails. They also have a mix of energy & explosion shields. The first fleet has one job - to take out the big ship with the beam weapon (position 3?). I give them all that target and fly a pair up either side of the AM fleet in roughly a V formation. When they get the big ship down, I set them to work on the other 5; usually the first fleet wipes. The second fleet (which tbh could be almost anything) has zero trouble taking out the remaining ships and slurps up the cargo. The repair time on the 1st fleet is around 25 mins.

    Talon Setup for popping cargo:

Weapons: x2 level 1 Mass Drivers
    Armor: Zynthium 1
    Shield: Shockwave 2
Specials: Rear Thrusters 3 and Iridium Magnets 2

This setup will work on cargo all the way up to 35 with instant repair (if you pilot correctly)

4 Rancors (because that's all I can fit)

    Spectral Shield lvl 2

    Iridium Mag lvl1

    Iridium lvl1

this will be used to take out that first bloody ship, wish me luck :).
