I need a Basing setup for Revelation Cruisers made for Blitzing.  I preferably need duel cargo 5's on them as I will use them to milk bases, thanks to whoever has a good setup to use!  And please post a picture of the setup.  If you can, post of video of them in action, thanks!

You use the term "milking" while also intending to blitz. Last I saw, farmers didn't beat their cows up before milking them. They don't give as much that way. :/

Okay, that's not a setup, but thanks for the input I guess.

Well he does say exactly what i thought when reading your post :)
But maybe we think different things with the word milking. Maybe for you milking is destroying a base and doing it again tomorrow. For some i believe, milking a base is taking some storages without bubbling and doing it again as much as possible.

Different ships have different roles. You look at a bases layout and then use what fits best.
The idea of the blitz fleet is to take the enemy fire and destroy it before it destroys you. Brute force. If not possible to beat it all, then at least the bridge. Lasers offer the best dps per tonn. Fleets like this prefere a base with many weapons that have a minimum range so that you can get close up and take a limited amount of fire while you take out those guns that still hurt. Optimal for this would be to have a fleet with spectral and one with shockwave shields so that you can use the one that best fits this base. Or have in 1 fleet some ships with each shields so that you can send in first the one with the right shield for this base. During prep you can try to take out either the explosive weapons or the lasers and have your fleet fit whatever weapons remain.

Balancing firepower vs tanking ability (total HP) will go a little bit in favour of tanking ability. In the theoretic case where you have 2 enemies shooting at eachother and tanking eachothers hit. You could simply multiply firepower x hitpoints to get the ships total efficiency and the highest score would win. In this case however you need to tank your way trough enemy fire before reaching the enemy base, so the you need a little more HPs compared to firepower to maximise the damage you can dish out before dying. Of course if you properly controll your fleet, you can benefit from having some tankier ships in front and some with more firepower in the back.

Long range weapons do not have the raw power to beat base defenses head on while your ship are taking in the damage. They are more suited for trying to dodge and taking as little damage as possible, survive the full 5 minutes. This is not a cruisers role but a battle ship role.

I am not yet very experienced though and mostly theorycrafting. So i may miss some important things or talk total nonsence :D
Not a ready to go build, but hopefully some ideas that could be helpfull to you make your own build.

Good point, I guess farming would have been a better word lol.  But I still need that fleet setup :D

Revs are not for milking bases, they are for crushing the Bridge (and possibly everything else). If you want to milk a base learn to use Destroyers with decoys and pick off the storages without leaving a person in a bubble so you can do multiple loads and leave them with very little bubble time after you've finally crossed the line.

    I don't play much anymore =(

Thanks for the info, but can someone please post a setup already?  Lol.

So apparently 6 duel Cargo 5 Revs can hold 27,330,000 cargo max from a base attack.

1st I love the comment, 2nd doing as described above "Milking" is something that does two things it helps the defender learn how to protect their base and it helps the attacker control their fleets better. Each users skill comes up a bit. :)

Apparently very difficult if no one can post one lol.  I'll figure out a setup when I get there.

Even revs need some specials to kill the defender's guns quick enough on better bases.

Using up ALL special slots on cargo means just basic gun stats.

Unless you are using new BP weapons, even 6 revs need some help killing armored and shielded level 10 guns if you want to keep the fleet damage low.

Yes, I agree with that.  The only reason why i'm not using specials is because the people who I attack with those Revs are the noob farms I have who could literally be flattened by Rancors, that's why I want all the carrying capacity.

either dual shock shield or dual spec shield. depending on the enemy base setup. It's not that hard. The rest beam and some armor. I dont have revs, but they are probably the easiest ships to design.

Benne123 I can tell that you don't have revs because your setup does not fit or make sense lol

Much more sense than saying something doesnt fit while not even a level for anything was given. He might not have revs, your reply makes one wonder if you even play the game :)
