Request: Auto Rancor WITH A TWIST

Ok, so ive been playing around with builds to no success. Im looking for a Rancor auto build that can auto lvl 20's BUT would like to put ATLEAST 1 lvl 5 cargo on it. Dont care if its instant rep just as long as i can do multiple cargos with it wouhout losing a ship

Requirements are:

Must be able To to atleast lvl 20 cargo no auto

Must be able to Do Multible cargos in a Row (dosent matter if its instant rep)

Must Have ATLEAST 1 Cargo V (2 would be better)

Just keep trying different builds, until you find something that works. Hardly anyone puts cargos on auto fleets, as they use cargo fleets to pick up what's left over.

Hi. I've been using this build to auto anything up to level 27.

Rancor in slots 3/4:
4xPolaron1, Shock3, 2xIridium2, Rear3, Optics2

Rancor in slot 1:
Same as 3/4 but: Spec4, Zynth1 + Plasteel2

Rancor in slot 2:
Same as 3/4 but: Rear4

Genesis in slot 5/6:
1xRail1 (to keep a distance), Spec3, Plasteel2, 161 t left for cargo modules (e.g. level 5+3)

It's insta-repair after 2 fights most of the time but sometimes they screw up...
I always tried to attack from 10 o'clock angle.

Sounds like the best thing would be to come up with a venom build, as they have better capacity, so you could get the cargo & weapons capacity you need. As I said before, you can always try building a rancor fleet where each ship contains one cargo 5 & add on to it beam weapons and the appropriate shields.

u could always just have another fleet to the side and have cargo 5 on it

I'm a little confused. You want a config for a Rancor fleet that can auto 20's but have space for a level 5 cargo hold? If that is the case, getting level 5 cargo on a Rancor fleet would require you to have pretty good weapons/shields and armore. I was using my Auto 33's to farm 20's when I was hunting for BPs. So if that is what you are looking for, I suggest you go to the following thread and take a look there.

can i ask whats the purpose of this? its hard to come up with a rancor build that will hold cargo5 and still auto multiple 20s.

Obviously the purpose is to have 1 cargo fleet that can auto as well. The answer to that is no. You can have such a fleet if you use Venoms, but rancors cannot hold so much weight so that you can fit decent weapons and shields and still have room for cargo 5.
