I dont even care any more and thinking to put OP in front dock is only thing you need t play ... its coming so stupid game
Already made my base easy to crack - really don't care anymore, as there's a repair button and the option to coin a dock repair (or just wait 3-4 hours).
Any decent defenses are at Tier 4/5 - and I'm not wasting time grinding for turrets that become useless with the next months/weeks 'special'.
No chance of getting anywhere now. Most friends have left the game thanks to changes, and given the crazy chores now I'll doubtless join them.

I've been wondering for some time what the "end game" plan is for Battle Pirates, and your last comment is the very reason why. If you have work so hard to gain access to tier 4/5 items, every one of which is a near game changer, only to find out that the weekly mission now has something everyone can use to counter it, then when does it stop? Every good business or game play needs time to increase AND rest. However, with BP there is no time to rest; it just doesn't exist.
Sure you can keep pushing, keep moving forward, and it'll work... for a time. But when it stops, it stops with a crash. I'm just wondering if that time is finally coming near. Even the major coiners in our group question each day when it'll be their last, and they're the ones using the new spcl with the mort-Bs and seeing how devastating they are to bases.

Thanks, and agree totally. Personally I think the end game is coming close now - only so many insanely overpowered hulls that can be released, and only so many specials.
The 'old days' of raids every few months let people build up at their own pace, and although there were a few game changing hulls, people had time to plan counter attacks and build their bases accordingly.
Now even the weekly missions contain 'potential' game changers, such as the Mort-B's - let alone Siege specials this time in the raid and whatever other hulls and tech get released.
As you rightly say, there's no time to rest - which could be viewed as a good thing. But players are running on hull and tech overload.....................and while nobody forces anyone to play a raid/mission, who seriously would want to be without the Mort-B's and the Siege Special (or the Halo/Jav/MC-X/DN-X etc. etc. ?
And therein lies the problem - probably anyone over lvl 45 has a host of blueprints gathering dust, and may never be built. Even the most ardent coiner will reach a stage where it's pointless coining a fleet - as the next week or month there'll be a counter.
What BP needs is breathing space - a break from raids/missions and other addons, and just let people play a PvP (rather than a PvE game). After all, a lot of mid lvl players (40-50 say) are only there through raid and mission XP - some may never have hit another player.

I thank Kixeye for the new seige specials.. finally those of us who do not have the funds to coin our way to the top have something offered within reach that can semi- even the odds. This game, for the most part, is catered to those who spend hundreds of dollars for all the latest and greatest new toys; and those of us who can only afford $5 or $10 here and there are left in their dust. Now, at least I have a chance to build a mort fleet that has a chance to level a base with all those new toys.
I don't think the complaining on here about it is as much about its "inbalance" as it is how easy it is for anyone to get.

did you see the vid liam posted ? sure there was also a rogue crew with that fleet but it is still op'ed when u use HE III and the new siege-B + the Siege Targeting III
By the sounds of it, the majority of people playing will be lucky to get through the first few tiers. Kixeye has lost it and just maybe they are looking for a way to kill this game by having people quit.
Mad, you've hit on something here that I think few realize. Was this a suicide attempt for BP?
