Can i seriously ask you who dreamed up this idea. this is beyond a joke. the new mortars were pushing it but this is a giant leap over board. i just did some rough calculations on your new siege special. this is for 1 weapon per ship.

Triton using shock q, building damage per volley 1800

Triton using siege b, building damage per volley 8000

Triton using siege rocket s, Building damage per round 2150

DNX using siege b, building damage per volley, 5600

DNX using shock q, building damage per volley, 1050

scx using siege cannon z, building damage per shot, 1683.5

MCX using siege missile F, building damage per shot, 1575,

Thresher using siege rocket s, building damage per round, 1505

thresher using maelstrom v, building damage per round, 2870

this is without using rogue crews for critical hits.

You can not be serious kixeye. i refuse to believe a competent person has thought this through. do you want your game to end. because this will totally destroy you game. this is by far the worse idea i have ever seen from you. no base in this game will hold up after these specials are released. period. and if you want to question my statement let me put this to you.
You put me in a test server now with any single member from your dev team, allow me to construct the needed fleets and then put any base you want in front of me and i will smoke it. i challenge anyone in your company to design a base i cant break with this new special...

so before you try to tell me i am wrong and we need to adapt first show me. this is stupid. its beyond stupid its **** ridiculous.

I am shocked at how bad this really is and how bad of a negative impact this will have on the game, im shocked that a company of your stature would design this and consider for release. Im totally gob smacked. I would like some answers as to why kixeye feel this is a good release and why something so stupidly over powered has been released.

    Liam- You are assuming that on a 3 special slot hull someone would either A. Have the weight for this special or B. Give up either Shells 3 or Alloy 3. Use your brain. The only hull this special will work on is Siege rocket Threshers. If you threw this on a DNX hull you would be forced to have to use all medium armor plates to compensate for the weight and shells 2 instead of 3.

    i spent 4 months making and upgrading 2 fleets to handle the last raid format by a thread, and only thru tier 3 at best.
    thanks to the new format i have to start over again. and with this new special, i expect to be bubbled daily since forsaken guns cant stop a **** thing as it is
    now they will stop even less.

    and as to the answer to your question -  YES THEY HAVE, ITS BEEN GONE FOR A LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG TIME.

    And as far as the Guardian goes- Anyone who has DNX already and spends the money for this hull is a moron with too much coin on their hands.

    your wrong buddy i can already see the builds. i worked them all out before this post. but im not going to post them. a lot of my fleets run gs3 but with this type of building dmaage they would no longer need it, it would be a very easy switch in specials.
    As I said- Threshers previously running GS3 will benefit the most from this special. I worked out the math as well on a 2 boat Siege B DNX and a Shock Q fleet. Weight wise, significant trade-offs will have to be made to use this with morts negating the extra building damage.

    No base can stand against this kind of damage. An 8 siege B dnx fleet will one-shot fully armored golis.

    Disagree.  Cluster Warhead is a higher DPS gain than Siege Equipment.  The only ship it works on is mortar creepers sacrificing engine/speed sys or DNX.  Everything else is locked into armor special and engine and at least 1 other pretty much equal value (when considering that guard fleets are typically twice as difficult to kill as turrets nowadays anyway) weapon special.  Creeper MCX, or MCX using strike system might be possible, but why not take enhanced warhead and have half the bonus but applied to both turrets and guards?

    Cluster 3 on a Thresher build with all Siege rockets is a waste.

    Add an all Hail C Triton to your base. I got hit by 4 Siege B DNX fleets during wrecka. All failed to do more than 50% damage to my base.

    It's 75% increase to building damage, not ships.

    I'd like to add that I don't think it'll be enough to make creeper fleets dangerous again, except to people who put their back turrets somewhere where splash was going to kill them anyway.  Literally the only fleet that worries me using siege equipment is a Shock Q DNX fleet.

    ETA:  Also, my Triton if I dropped engine for siege equipment does, adjusted for splash accuracy, divide by 2 for magic kixeye math (if you have to ask, don't), and cut by 50% for ablative turret special,  9695 in a volley if no bombards or hailstorms were involved.  Just to add some more fuel to the fire here.  But I really don't think it'll break any more bases that way then it would with the speed sys.  Probably less.  It's been a long time gone since turrets were my primary worry in a base.

    I think the new siege & shock wave killed the game & now this new ship will end the game for sure. mc & dread  are done. this is a game ender

    While this does seem like a silly idea, lets take a step back and see it play out first. Perhaps we MAY be missing something here or Kixeye might wake up and change this.

    Time will tell!

    So what's the solution guys? It is being released whether we like it or not so what are we to do about it? We can either accept it and hope they come out with level 5 turrets soon or quit the game. Why cry about it.

    I like the new Siege Mortars....the "I give up" base...err, square base with OP in center is no longer safe.  Just watched one go down!

    DNX are already insane, with the new special you easily have the space on a DNX so it will just be ridicolous

    yeah i have to admit this was the biggest shocker to me. i did think about most hulls having only 3 specials and what would i lose and yes for most things that holds true but as liam says gs3 is on a lot of fleets and can easily be swapped out for this special who needs evade when ur knocking down turrets in 1 volly never really having to stop moving and u can always keep ur lead ship with evade if u were that worried about jav fire or whatever and then have the other 2-4 ships dealing 75% extra damage its just crazy.
