Possible PC Issue

Sorry but the title may be somewhat vague, I haven't been playing this long but I find it a great distraction from BP......however, I am finding some things rather 'clunky' trying to tag resource cargo, and when I finally do trying to control any ship within the fleet.

I play this on the same PC as BP, BP is fine and I appreciate that this is a beta version, but does Vega require a higher spec PC?

Dual Core P4 (3.5), 2Gb Ram, Xubuntu, Chrome (Flash v11.6)....neither BP nor Vega work too well on my windows box.

Thx in adv.....Geoff

    I get a similar issue.

It seems theres a delay between when I invoke a command, like click on a ship, to when the game server actually performs the action, like select a fleet.  Even in battle screen, my inputs seem delayed.

Interesting your OS though. Im running Chrome on Ubuntu, flash 11.6.    However I also notice similar problem on chrome with  windows XP on another PC.  Thinking its a Linux/flash issue, but that probably rules it out.
Playing since Feb 2012.  Originally sector 304

Glad it's not just me :) have found that BP runs smoother under Linux than windows, so it's not O/S or Flash.....that's a relief :) will carry on for a while though, shame cos I actually like it....

I have to run Vega through IE, whereas BP works better on Chrome.

Interesting, just tried that and it is slightly better, at least the fleet moved :) still took a few tries to 'tag' a cargo though....

    Compared to BP.....Ram @ 25% and cpu's @ 70%......so vega's a bit hungry....:)

God forbid running Vega and BP at the same time!  Either game running usually has my fans running non stop.  Alienware M17XR4, i7- 3610QM CPU @ 2.30 GHz.  8 gigs of ram.

Interestingly enough, I can run BP or Vega and another game such as Left For Dead2 or SWTOR and not have much problem at all.  Even more interesting is, I can run both SWTOR and Left For Dead2 and not have any issues.  Meh.
